Poor simple Trump, doesn't even realize he put himself in a lose/lose situation on this one.

Somehow he manages to get dumber and dumber by the minute.

Well, if you're not convinced by those iron-clad sources then nothing will convince you!

No dog in this fight, but if I was a betting man, my money would be on Trump more likely to face legal troubles in the future than Obama.

People seem to pick and choose. So it's up to you
Trump has told us NYT is enemy of the people so anyone citing them as a source is likewise.  Now you can accept opinions of those citing the NYT but I'm not about to stand here and listen to them badmouth the USA.

I am not saying that Obama did order this, but I would like to remind people that we did intercept calls of the German Chancellor and the Israeli prime Minister under his watch, so it is something that he would do.

Right.

Now imagine we overheard Merkel colluding with Putin and Russian intelligence and money laundering interests to act against the US and Germany.

How shortsighted would it be for a sitting president to order an illegal wiretap of a party's nominee knowing there'd be a decent chance the "tapped" guy would win and thus gain clearance to see information showing he'd been "tapped"? And if Trump actually had solid intel that Obama acted illegally, how stupid and inept would he have to be right after learning about it to just fire off a tweet about it?  It doesn't take a CIA analyst to see Trump's ridiculous tweet for what it is. My favorite part of the tweets was "Nothing Found." Haha. What a moron.

When you say "nothing found", are you talking about Trump tied to Russia, influencing the election or Obama being involved.

What are your thoughts on the subject?
Too early and there are entirely too many stories regarding Russia going on at the same time to make sense of anything. If I'm forced to take a guess...:

Obama knew about the fisa warrant, but didn't order it. There was probably some intel that justified it, but nothing was found. Since nothing was found, apparently, I'm starting to think that there aren't any damaging ties between Trump (his campaign) and Russia.

Oh, sure, but only because Obama's stacked the courts. ;)

I mean, there is zero evidence yet of this wiretapping accusation, but, considering 1) Obama's history for wiretapping Americans, and 2) Obama's history of politicizing the bureaucracy to use as a weapon against his political opponents, it is entirely believable that it did happen.
Every president in the history of presidents has done some sketchy stuff where we will truly never know the details of.

I'd wager Trump walks that line like a champion.

Trump is always right on this type of stuff. The truth will come out next month after weeks of liberal bashing.  The true story will get buried behind high school bowling scores.

:lmao:

Even if the stuff about Obama was true and fair (it's not remotely close), consider for a moment the horrific #### you could tag Trump with if your only standard was "believable considering his past behavior."

What's great is that even if it turns out that Obama did all this sketchy stuff and is exposed, the media will just rush to his defense (you can see this already) and say it was justified. People will run to stick up for him. Nothing will ever come of it.

Which then makes it all nice and legal when Trump does the same thing against his opponent in 2020. I'm sure Trump can be trusted with all the weapons Obama has given the executive branch.
They all suck

Totally.

How's that whole BIRTHER going lately?

Those investigators Trump sent ever return from Hawaii?

They sure are taking their sweet time making it back to the mainland.

Man, between wiretapping Trump's phones and not telling Hillary to spend more time in the Rust Belt, and arranging for 3 million unneeded, illegal votes in California, Obama really lost his political touch from 2008.

Remember two weeks ago when Trump and his supporters said "the leaks are worse than the scandal"?

I guess the new spin is going to be "Obama's wiretapping is worse than the treason it uncovered!"

I keep hoping this is all a shtick dream I am having.  The real loser in all of this is the FFA.
