***Official OHIO STATE-MICHIGAN Thread*** (2 Viewers)

Gonna be a hefty bill if Tate is gonna take his team to a bowl game now.

Sucks the economy is in the tank in Michigan and the player's salaries are down.

Well up to this point I'm pretty happy with our play, Tate just needs to relax, I still think he's gonna be a good one, just to many freshamn mistakes today. He did however go over 2,000 yards pasiing.

I gotta say that Michigan looked decent today. They were able to move the ball better than tOSU for most of the game and their D looked decent (or was it that tOSU's O was awful?). They're young and could be a real threat as Forcier and some of the others get better. Tough way for their year to end, but hopefully they'll use it as inspiration in the offseason. The rivalry is just more fun when both teams are fighting for something.

It's been almost two decades since they've both been fighting for something with the exception of 2006 unfortunately. I like the back and forth, not the long streaks by one team or the other. Been losing it's luster for me for some time now.

As an OSU fan, it's easy to get a little disgruntled with Tressel at times - conservative play calling, etc. But ultimately, he's a winner and has a formula that has been working. He was brought in to beat Michigan and he has done that splendidly.

The Rose Bowl should be interesting - I don't know if OSU's D is good enough to dominate the game, so they're going to have to bring some creativity on offense to make it a good game.

Say, 6 years or so?

Missed the "almost two decades" part??

So it's been losing it's luster for you for "almost two decades?" You have the patience of Job.

Pretty much. Doesn't really have anything to do with patience. I will say I am frustrated with no bowl games two years in a row, but I can see why they aren't. Doesn't make it any easier though. Lots of spots to fill on this team.
