anyone up for a quick onslaught tourney today? Nothing major or time consuming. Let me know, and I'll try to organize one.

I've yet to try it in real-time play, but based on the way he described it's advantages, it seems like pure genius.

Meresau has always been a personal fav of mine. Hes definitely off his rocker from time to time, but if you don't mind wading through some of the BS, you'll find a lot of brilliant thoughts.

Jwvdcw, I must say that while overall this looks solid, you have ignored Maloney's corrolary regarding the employment of the 23 array.  I find this surprising, especially since you attempted the employment in your 42 man onslaught, when we all know this type of array is practically useless in onslaughts in the range of 10-60.

I gave tanner some slack for omitting the 23 array in his 84 man onslaught.  But for you to blatantly ignore it here tells me you're fairly new to this, or just fishing us here.
:goodposting: Shuke knows his onslaught
:hifive:

I hear he's back from retirement, playing under the name Jean Belivieu and bringing his bag of goodies to every tournament he enters.

See, I used to have a life. Then about a year and a half ago, I stumbled across this thread. Now I'm in at least three tourneys a month, and catch myself uttering phrases like, "You keep concentrating on non-primes in that array, and I will OWN your sorry ###." Thanks a lot for this. It's not quite as bad as when I discovered Werewolf, but it's close.

At first, I thought, "Well, the exclamation point screams 'newbie.' But then I saw the 279 variation following it and thought, "Maybe its a trap?" Not sure if you meant to do that or not, but pretty strong effort.

I can't keep this charade going any longer-- the 279 was in there simply by incident. You can attribute the exclamation point to merely being too enamored in Rietche's third defense mechanism. Since this effort my onslaughts have greatly improved if i do say so myself.

Bring 'em on. The Russians keep coming after me with their Markov's Blankets and their prime arrays. Non-sequential negative square roots take their asses straight back to the Gulag.

I'm not playing this ever again, not even the new version. It just takes too much time and I always get outdueled anyway.

Oh brother.
LMAO
I mean really...this makes no sense. Did you purposefully mix Zafarov's Construct with your basic outlay? I don't think that's legal is it?
Of course it's legal, noob. Just outright dumb.If you're going to do anything with a basic outlay, you need to incorporate at least 2 Zamonski sequences in the middle third and at least loosely follow the Wolfe outline.
