I'm not broke up that we missed Evacuation. I think I need the Lost Dogs hoofed ( :bag: ) My fav is Sad , not sure what this All Night business is about.

Which, in my opinion tells us more about the tour than this setlist...All Night, I Am Mine, Faithful, Low Light, Evacuation Normally getting all of those would be labeled a great set of songs you don't hear every time out...

All Night is a solid Lost Dogs song (albeit better live) that gained cult status b/c they had NEVER played it live before this tour...Although it seems that it will have been played 14X when the tour is over...Meh, I'm happy to hear it, but I don't look at it as the Holy Grail that apparently many PJ nerds do

They're only about 50% on nailing encores imo this tour...maybe they will tonight.

I can live with I Am Mine every time. Would rather hear All Night, Low Light and especially Faithful.

Consider it done RR. Some of the songs are just played for me and others I prefer the album version (Small Town and Off He Goes are two of those for me). Sleight of Hand would be cool...have a great version from Katowice 2 '00 when they opened with 5-6 mellow tunes in a row because of an "intimate" crowd and setting.

I guess so........really crappy Encore IMOMain Set: Long Road, Corduroy, Severed Hand, All Night, I Am Mine, Small Town, Faithful, Low Light, Evacuation, Given To Fly, Green Disease, Not For You/(Modern Girl), Sleight Of Hand, Even Flow, Wishlist, Insignificance, Do The Evolution, RearviewmirrorEncore 1: Comatose, Why Go, Better Man, JeremyEncore 2: Guaranteed, Alive, Rockin' In The Free World (w/Kings Of Leon)

Cool that they scrapped No More (not a huge fan) in favor of Guaranteed (more ITW coming this tour)?

And that KOL came out for RITFW as it was the last show KOL will be supporting (unfortunately)

So I guess rvm was not 3rd song played.

Average setlist tonight, but they are still changing things up and rotating alot of songs. Love to see Not For You back and SOHand.

Not a big fan of Alive in the 2nd encore seemingly every night. If they play it, fine, but move it around or get it in the main set. Hit me with something different every night there.

We have to get some sort of compilation recording for this tour. If a hoof-style thing is out of the question, maybe we get 12 of us, each buy a boot and figure out how to exchange files or something. If this sounds really stupid and n00b-ish, I apologize, I've never done anything like this online before. I'm from the days of dual cassette-decks and high-speed dubbing.

I'm sure I'll be snagging all the boots when they come out, then we can work on that. This will turn out bigger than the first one on half as many dates

Officially oot for Camden. It just wasn't in the cards, seriously.

I'm holding out some last-minute hope for Boston I and II and the New Yorker.

No Drivers License Sean, I'll p-mail you Canada Mike's number. If he has his other 10C seat still available, you are going to be stoked.

You all are gonna have a blast. Can't wait to read about it... :goodposting:

I was in the 4th row, somewhat to the right of center stage. This was the third time I've seen them (1996 in Charlotte, NC and 2000 or 2001 in Raleigh, NC being the others), and it was the closest I've been to the stage by far. The whole band is awesome, but in particular Mike McCready is just amazing.I was mildly disappointed not to hear Black, Footsteps, and/or State of Love and Trust, three of my favorites, and I was hoping for a third encore. Still, it was a great show. :excited:

Just heard tonight on WMMR here (huge PJ station 93.3 FM here), both Ed and Jeff at the REM concert. They caught the entire Modest Mouse opener set as well.

I just realized I actually had this on my ipod from pulling some Lost Dog tracks previously (namely went out to get Fatal and Sad). It was ok.

It's much better live, IMO...If you listen to the Bonnaroo boot, it's a real good live song...

Thought I would share some PJ stories on the night of my show.

1. My friend and I made a mix tape when we were freshman so I guess it would be 1992 or so. We called it the unsung and put stuff like Saying No in Denhaug and Sonic Reducer and other things that we compiled from the boots that we were trading at the time. So we called it the unsung and put our initials on it just to be cool (we were freshman). Anyway we would make the tape for anyone that wanted a copy. Long story short, my senior year of college someone had the unsung tape (our initials still on it) and said it was one of their favorite tapes. Person lived about 1 and a half hours from my home town.

2. I am hard of hearing so it is very difficult for me to make out the words to songs. I was at the Randalls Island show and Courdory came on. I started singing the words that I thought and said Stop Waiting Trophy Man. My friend I went with looked at me and said you are an idiot. What does that even mean. Suffice it to say, he corrected me.

3. I have been listening to PJ on ipod shuffle (all songs) and I really do not love the Binaural CD. Just thought I would add that

For those in attendence I am wearing Jeans, a Pennywise sweatshirt and a NYC marathon hat. If you see me, give me a shout. Have fun and heres hoping for a killer set

(From Wikipedia): Binaural original track listingWhen the track listing for Binaural was first released in late March 2000, it was quite different from the final version. Some tracks that were originally on the album were dropped and not released until the Lost Dogs compilation and "Gods' Dice" was added to the final version. The original version looked like this: 1. "Breakherfall" 2. "Insignificance" 3. "Evacuation" 4. "Letter to the Dead" * Later renamed to "Sad" 5. "Rival" 6. "Grievance" 7. "Light Years" 8. "Of the Girl" 9. "Thin Air" 10. "Nothing As It Seems" 11. "Fatal" 12. "Sleight of Hand" 13. "Soon Forget" 14. "In the Moonlight" 15. "Parting Ways" 16. "Education"I think that album would have been very, very good. Binaural songs are much better live IMO. Cool experiences, enjoy the show. :goodposting:

Digging into the binder here....For the DC show here are some things I'm hoping for that I've never heard live:

-WMA (full version)

-Off He Goes (REALLY want to hear this just once)

-Rival (one of my favs off Binaural, but they've only played 18 times)

-Arc (one can dream, ain't happenin' though)

-Hard to Imagine, Sad, Education, Fatal, All Night, Undone (Lost Dogs rarities)

-Black Red Yellow (deserves it's own Lost Dogs spot)

-Army Reserve (good chance in DC)

-Parachutes, Big Wave, Come Back (others from Avocado)

-Masters of War, Soldier Of Love, Throw Your Arms Around Me, Crown of Thorns (randoms)

Gimme two or three and I'll be stoked. Can't wait to bump this next week... :goodposting:

Take a look here. There are always people looking to unload tix in the Porch and Given To Fly forums, although the MSG tix may be a little tougher to come by. Good thing is most folks will sell for face value.

Thanks, I'll keep my eye on it. Much appreciated.

ok. I am at the venue and you could not ask for a nicer night. Ted Leo just finished so now just waiting for PJ. We got here early and since we have lawn seats were able to camp out right by the railing to the left of the stage. No one can stand in front of us and the whole stage is visible. Can't wait for PJ.

Nice. Great to be on Mike's side. Good weather. Front lawn will be good. But just so you know, it could not have been easier for me to sneak up to the front at that venue (albeit a few years back). Just rolled on by like I didn't have time to show my ticket and found a seat, no problem. I was solo though...Keep the updates coming, if you can. :excited:

I will try buy my Internet connection is not great and I don't know the names of songs but I'll do the best I can here and there

Love the start of the show tonight in Camden (also didn't know this was an outdoor venue).Main-set: Hard to Imagine, Corduroy, Severed Hand, Do The Evolution, All Night, In Hiding, Small Town, Gone, Who You Are, UnemployableSort of reminds me of a show I was at in 2003 that is below. Rockin' from the get go after Can't Keep. They really brought it that night...lots of fast pace kick you in the ### ####! Loved that show.

Main Set - Can't Keep, Corduroy, Grievance, Save You, Do The Evolution, Given To Fly, Elderly Woman Behind The Counter In A Small Town, Love Boat Captain, I Am Mine, Even Flow, Present Tense, Jeremy, Lukin, Not For You, Thumbing My Way, Spin The Black Circle, Alive Encore 1 - You Are, Animal, Daughter/(W.M.A.)/(People Have The Power), State Of Love And Trust, Black Encore 2 - I Am A Patriot, Driven To Tears, Better Man, Crazy Mary, Sonic Reducer, Rockin' In The Free World

I can only speak for myself but this show is not doing anything for me. The second half of the set I have not enjoyed one song until they just started playing rats. I hate to say it but I'm almost bored. Hopefully it picks up

Unemployable is a guilty pleasure of mine. Even Flow...been there, done that. BUT, then it really RIPS from there, IMHO. Was hoping for Light Years, as that has been one of my faves. Doubt they'll play it tomorrow, so must hope for MSG.

forget anything I said about being bored. 2nd set was killer. Reign, betterman, black state of love and leash. Amazing

from 2nd set on, best show I have been to. More to come later
From the second set on? From the opening chords of Hard to Imagine, IMONot one down moment, great set, great crowd, Mike was shredding, Eddie was awesomeNot sure why you were down on the first set????More to come tomorrow!

wow...arguably better than the vic show.....obviously not as good of a venue, bu the set was inceadible...I don't think they went wrong at all.

oddly enough, the 2 songs that it looked like the crowd got most pumped up for was given to fly and why go.

opening with hard to imagine was crazy...they never stopped til the encore

I guess I'm officially calling it the best concert I've ever been to.

assuming they have to top it tomorrrow

I definitely respect everyones opnion as music is a subjective thing. Here are the songs that I did not like in the first set.

Do the evolution, light years, grievance, given to fly and who you are.

It seemed like for a while they would not play a song I liked again. However they finished strong with rats and why go

Then the 2nd set was just awesome with my favorite PJ song State of Love and Trust. I have always liked Betterman since the bad radio days and it was sick that the crowd sung the entire first verse. Mcready playing behind his back was awesome. Don't remember what song that was. Crazy Mary was great as was porch (which I think was the behind the back song)

I would have loved to sub glorious g, dissedent, breakherfall, garden and insignificance for any of the songs I didnt like.

I know not everyone will agree but that's the best part of following a great band. Everyone will have different songs they like.

As I said it was the best show I have been to with some slow parts for me.
