 We should be able to convert this video to something more innernet friendly, if necessary
I'd rather not let this slip out mainstream if it can be avoided. I'll talk to the guy and get his opinion on how he wants me to handle distribution but I may shy from making it TOO easy to distribute via the interwebs if that's his desire. If he doesn't give a #### then yeah, we'll get it online. If he does then I'll ship a few DVDs to the core fans here and they can pass a few on as well.
That's fine, either way. If you want me to convert it I will, thought it may be just as easy for you to do it yourself. Looking forward to it either way(I'm a regular in this thread who once put together some live sets for everybody)
:)

Yeah so pretty sure none of you believe #### I have to say at this point with my luck streak, but everyone who knows me will tell you I'm the luckiest ******* on the 3rd rock.

Wed I sat directly to the right of a guy who GAVEme a 4th row center to Thursday's show (street value = $300 first offer from scalpers...so, much higher)

Yesterday on my "day off" on this lovely 4 day tour, I had materials thrown backstage to HOPEFULLY be signed...

Tonight I sat directly to the right of a guy shooting the show on video... and quite professionally. Black drape cloth...etc. Turns out he was flying solo (first mistake) and I alerted him of hovering security early on with a very republicanesque foot tap. After a second save he started kinda trusting me. Covered him the rest of the show watching the mezzanine doors for security. Exchanged numbers at the end of the show and HOPEFULLY he'll hold to his word and have a 1st Gen Fully Digital DVD in my mailbox within a few days of final editing.

Yeah... that means you #######s are getting copies.

Met up with Fuller before/after... went to go see a longtime buddy of mine (Patrick Dodd) who recently picked up the electric guitar... Kid had the big-money voice before. Now, well I'll just let DF post his personal opinion. :lmao:

Show overall was very very good. My personal take?

Setlist: Ranks Tied for Second with Thursday.

Overall Show: Ranks a VERY CLOSE 3rd behind Wednesday's Ryman show and a lil bit behind Thursday's show.

I won't hear back on the signatures till Monday, sadly.

Video guy..well as soon as I hear about that, the regulars in here will get some packages via USPS or FEDEX within a day or two of me getting mine..

Unofficial setlist for tonight via PJ community:

Set list (unconfirmed): Walking the Cow, Brain Damage/Sometimes (w/ a singalong at the end), Last Kiss, Betterman (similar to nashville version), Millworker, No Ceiling, Far Behind, Guaranteed, Rise, Your True, Drifting, You've Got to Hide Your Love Away, Can't Help Falling in Love, Let My Love Open the Door, Wishlist, Porch

1st encore: Golden State w/ E.J., Society w/ Liam, Throw Your Arms Around Me w/ Liam, Small Town, Forever Young, Arc

2nd encore: Santa Cruz w/ Liam on drums, Hard Sun
Very very good set. I'll say Ed was the least chatty of the 3 shows I've seen lately. Still in very good spirits, however... Amazing show. Oh and Fuller likes ribs, and likes to buy you a lot of beers and call you a ##### if you can't down them...despite your girl giving you "you better not ####in drink that" glares across the table. :) Awesome dude
:lmao: Roy asked me this morning where the ribs came from. I told him I guess you ordered them. Roy goes, "I think I was taking ribs off Matt's plate." I said "yeah. I'm not sure if he offered, or if we just took them." I also got a tamale which I just sucked out of the husk. I'm not sure if that was offered or I just took it also. Two rather large black ladies tried to pick us up when we were walking up Second street, going back to the hotel. Roy wanted to go with them.

Patrick is a badass guitar player and has an awesome voice. Really enjoyed it.

:lmao:

I got a slab and a half and it was community snacking. Everyone said they were a little hungry so I figured ribs would help soak up the ######ed amount of alcohol we (mainly you two) were putting down. :lmao:

Not sure on the Tamale. I know my GF ordered some but she can never finish an order so you might have ended up with one of those. It's all good. We stayed till almost 3... in bed at 4:30am... up at 8am today. Ugh.

Glad ya enjoyed Pat's stuff. Ya should definitely check him out with his regular band one night at BB Kings'.

Was good to sit down and kill a few beverages with ya

Supoposedly there are live versions of the ev shows floating around the red mosquito forums. Saw this on my phone, so haven't looked into it too much. I really wanna hear the new song 'the end' again.

Just got the call from my GB at the Orpheum

Eddie signed both pieces....

The Ryman Hatch showprint is personalized "To Matt"

I wanted that one personalized for the framing job... clipped a note that simply said "Ed, Thanks for two amazing nights at the Ryman. I can't wait to see what rabbits you pull out of your hat tonight. - Matt"

The 1991 Let Me Sleep Xmas Single is not personalized (by design, did not clip a note to it as I didn't want him to realize someone had 2 pieces back there).

I'll be getting them between now and Wednesday. I will post pics when I get them for anyone who may be interested.

BAD NEWS:

My GB had put a guitar back there and Ed wouldn't sign it. I"m not sure if it was because it wasn't a Gibson... if it was because he was afraid it was going on Ebay (which my buddy left a note explaining (truthfully) That it was for his private collection and would never be sold). I feel bad getting both my things signed and him striking out but oh well...

I will try to track them down again... these sorta things need to be capitalized on ASAP. I slacked on the balt shows myself...

Yeah, I know. Sorry I missed them.
It's all good, man. Sorry they died. I'll work on getting current links
Much appreciated [icon]. As soon as the link for the 08 shows were posted, I spent the next couple of hours downloading those for fear that they'd be gone just like when I found the Berkley show last year that was gone within a day of when I originally found it.

When the Ryman shows come in I'll host them on my own servers so they won't be able to "go down"... at least until someone spreads the link beyond this forum and I see too much bandwidth getting consumed. Then I'll chop it.

Are we still talking about Pearl Jam bootlegs or are you talking about going Lorena Bobbitt on some guy that you have over to your place?

Went to the Atlanta show tonight and really enjoyed it. Arc was unbelievable....I had no idea. I don't know the setlist well enough to attempt to post it, and I'm sure it'll be up on 10C soon enough. We did chat with Kilgore Trout and his wife for a bit outside during Liam's set. They'll be at the 2nd show tomorrow night; unfortunately, I will not. Oh, and Eddie said that the album is finished!

Boy, I've missed a bunch in this thread. Wish I could get these downloads and stuff, if still possible, but won't be around to do so (traveling). TU, could you maybe burn and send me some?

Glad to see all the positive experiences. I haven't checked out anything new, and I just decided I'm not going to, as I'll be at the shows in Honolulu. I like hearing a song for the first time live. Often stays with me like that -- like I Am Mine, one of my favorites, which they first played at The Bridge School Benefit in 10/11, not long after 9/11, obviouisly. Man, was that a heavy moment; loved it.

So yeah, wanted to check-in and see if anybody's going to the Hawaii shows by chance. We've got a good, raucous group posting up at the Outrigger through the weekend. I have a few extra tickets. Good ones, too. First night, I'll be 4th row, on Mike's side. Not sure about the second night yet, but should be very good.

I read where someone, was it regularguy?, said ARC was kind of mind-blowing. Yeah, it is. That's something that needs to be seen/heard live. It's awesome.

Aloha!

:goodposting: Talking about hosting the Boots on my server so they can't get shut down... but if folks let the link go into the wild and I get a lot of traffic I'll have to shut it down. FYI Got this text Saturday:"Got a nice little package in the mail yesterday. Shoot me an address and I'll pass it along. They sound ####in great. He sent Memphis audio too". He has my address. I assume I'll have the discs this week sometime. I will immediately encode/upload.

Was just listening to the July 22nd 2006 Gorge Show on my commute home. Just stellar ####, esp at the end. Just tore it up. Great boot if you haven't heard it. And if you have, give it another spin. Getting pumped for the possibilty of some Fall dates and resisting the temptation to head to Chicago in August.

Weather here in NYC seems to have finally taken a turn for the better, and when that happens my thoughts inevitably turn to PJ.

Even though they are certainly a band for all seasons, I always identify them with summer especially.

 to my fellow PJ junkies!

Just got an email from my video connection. URLs removed as Megaupload is offline for some reason... I will post again when it's back.

PLEASE adhere to the rules and do not let these links run rampant. I'm going to trust you guys to be cool on this one. This guy and his buddy are pretty much the "inner circle" of all PJ boots and I'd hate to lose this connection due to someone being stupid. :fishing:

You are in for a wonderful surprise when you listen to this recording. Crisp, clear yet with great ambiance it does a great job of letting those who were there relive the show and those who weren't an opportunity to experience it! Please be careful passing these links on. I don't mind if you share them with firends just PLEASE do not post to message boards. Share the links via e-mail or inbox, etc. and please follow these rules:

Memphis mp3 (V0 / VBR) link :

Memphis FLAC link:

rules:

1) The taper does not want this or the Nashville shows (yes, those links will be coming soon.) to be spread via TORRENTS. Again, please do not torrent this show or the Nashville ones.

2) Please use the MP3 link for personal use only, say to put it on your ipod, computer to listen to, etc. However if you are going to burn this show to CD to send to friends, please download the FLAC link (lossless) for the optimal sound quality to share.

3) You will need to have an RAR software program to "unpack" the download file into individual song files. I use the "Free RAR Extract Frog". Google it if you need to.

4) To convert FLAC to WAV, all you need is "FLAC FRONTEND" or equivalent program. google it.

ALso got this email re; The DVD.

Matt, Hi! This is #### from the Memphis show. I just sent my master tapes to my friend who will be doing the dvd. hopefully he can have it finished in a few weeks! do you have any download links for EV shows from this tour? please let me know. ####

Damn, heading out of town for the holiday so I won't be able to get these until Sunday night. Can someone PM the links and I'll just hope they're still up by Sunday. TIA.

PM welcome here as well.

FWIW, if you code the link using the "Wrap in code tags" option if you post it here, that prevents the link from being searchable via the web. Don't know further details, but others may be able to add input

Sounds good. I'll hit a half dozen of the core posters here with the URL as soon as it's live and post in here to start requesting the links. If folks would help me distribute it that would be great.

Just got this email from DVD Buddy:

Yeah I got some (good connections) mostly cause of my filming prowess. As a former audio taper I'm sure u still have connections too! Anyway I wanted to thank u again for being my lookout cause it was critical to my filming. I didn't have to worry about security! ####

ps. The dvd will be done by the 3rd or 4th week of july with full menus and a dolby 5.1 mix
:bag:

Links Live

PM sent to everyone who requested thus far I believe....

ETA: Damn. This is arguably the best audience boot of Eddie Solo I've heard. Seriously. Fantastic recording... now I REALLY can't wait to hear the Ryman shows (same guy)

Thanks a ton [icon]! I've been so jazzed about this all day. Unfortunately, I've got to make some space on my computer, so I won't get a chance to unpack it tonight and listen to it, but at least I'll have it downloaded. Thanks again :hifive:
