***Official Pearl Jam Thread*** (4 Viewers)

Found this online and thought it could be of interest:-http://mcomv2.blogspot.com/2009/10/pearl-jam-from-ten-to-backspacer-live.html

Pearl Jam – From Ten To Backspacer: LIVE!I wanted to do something fun before I left for my Pearl Jam weekend in Philly. I ended up recreating all nine of Pearl Jam’s albums with live versions of each and every song (except for a select few that have never been performed live). I did my best to use soundboard, radio or television recordings when possible and made sure not to use anything Pearl Jam does not want shared (recordings from Eddie Vedder’s Into The Wild shows or current bootlegs being sold on their website). I had a lot of fun doing this and really hope you guys enjoy it.
Very bummed my circumstances prevented attendance at all shows but very pumped for Fri/Sat. Hope the weather holds out for some quality tailgating on top of it!

Rummaging through my vault, here is what I've never heard live (from the albums, not including Backspacer) before that was not played the last two nights, therefore making these a real possibility!

Deep - would complete Ten, I expect this one.

WMA - would complete Vs, but doubtful imo. I have heard it tagged numerous times.

Off He Goes - I think it's a lock.

Are the floor sections set up as 3-2-3 or 3-3-3? I've seen two different end stage maps online. The 3-2-3 setup would push section 106 to the 3rd wave of floor seats.

Are they doing the sports teams shirts? And if so, what was last night and tonight?
Bump.I read they are not on the boards due to a big lawsuit. Not sure if that's true or not, but sounds like no dice on the shirts.
Haven't seen any at all, so I'm thinking no. Too bad really, I was hoping for a Sixers one. Not impressed with any of the merch, I was thinking about getting a Social D shirt but I forgot last night and now it's too late. Saving my money probably the smartest option.Much needed day of rest today. Burning the candle at both ends here.

I feel like I've been run over by a truck today.....too....much......pot..... :goodposting: We smoked up right inside the Spectrum last night, and it was delightful!

Night 1: better setlist

Night 2: better crowd and tailgate pre game.

Onto Friday night!

 GO PHILS.

It goes 3-3-3. 106 is the far right floor on Stone's side. I was in 105 on Tuesday night. Second wave of floor seats in front of soundboard.

AgreedI had a first row seat in 301 last night, loved it. Unfortunately all I had to take pics with was the blackberry, so they look like poop. We'll find you tomorrow. We got no vehicle now.

Got your number, so will call once parked. Potential snafu with Friday partner could get us there late, no should be no issues for Saturday. If I shoot for the 3-4 arrival time, do you see any traffic issues w/ the WS traffic...takes me between 1 1/2 - 2 hrs to get there.

:bs: How were those seats last night on the side? What was the sect number again?

Killer f'ing seats! 224! We were literally right on top of the stage, and could see everything. Awesome! Sitting 223 tomorrow night! :excited:

Just got two tiks in 324A row 8 face value from the PJ boards. One section over from your seats last night, one level up. Should be just fine for a Friday evening! Then rock 10C seats on Halloween! Still looking for one on Friday, or an upgrade on site where we can get 3 together, but that will be less of an issue now.

Those are real good seats. My sister was there last night. They had no backdrop at all last night (Curtained off on Tuesday), so you can see everything.

Both shows have been great IMO. Hard to differentiate. But how many bands could play two shows in a row and repeat TWO songs? Sick.

Chilling in Philly tonight watching some world series action with Zilla and Kilgore Trout.

Can't wait for tomorrow and Sat!

I will be there tonight. I thought I was going to see the last show when I got the tickets, obviously they added tomorrow. That will be amazing tomorrow if some of the rumors of guests and playing til 2am are true. Halloween tailgate for Pear Jam and World Series will be a show in itself. Tonight will be great though.

Last night was one of greatest concerts I've ever seen. The ending with Alive and Baba O' Reilly was unreal. They really loved the crowd and what the Spectrum has meant. So glad I got to see them there as I have only seen them at the Camden/ Tweeter center. Spectrum is truly a great rock arena.

Wow....crowd & setlist was the best I've ever been to. Has to be one of the best PJ shows of all time.....with TU and Zilla right now, bout to head out to tailgate. Met up with Kilgore and BBWC yesterday as well. Sitting with BBWC today.

Hopefully this one tops last night

Sorry to anyone who tried to get together with me yesterday. My cell battery took a dump.

I will be down a little later today, but definitely hit me up and we'll try to make it happen again.

Spectacular. Full reports, please.

Waiting for bus back to NYC. Full report later, but suffice it to say, that was the best run of shows I have ever seen. Last night was ####### EPIC. 10 song ####### 2nd encore.

That building went out in style.

So wiped after get home around 4 a.m. so further thoughts will be issued. Epic does not describe enough these last two nights. Just truly amazing nights with a ####### great rock n roll band...

Just got home. ####### awesome!

Friday night was spectacular. The band was so tight on Friday. Perfection. And the crowd was amazing.

Saturday was epic for sure. What, 41 songs in 3 1/2 hours? Bugs! Out of My Mind! Crown of Thorns! Sweet Lew! I was bothered by the restart flubs just because there were more than a couple. I think Ed was getting a bit annoyed. They just try so hard...I was telling myself how hard it must be. But everything else made up for them...and they nailed the restarts. BUGS + accordian! Man I'm so happy Ed didn't pack it in there.

More to come once I unwind...

No time for a full update right now.....but holy ####### ####. I'm so glad I made the decision to come up for the last 2 nights. Amazing shows....I think we got 80 songs in 2 nights give or take.

I've now heard every PJ song I could possibly want to hear (until the release a new album).

I plan on buying the Oct 28th show that I was at. I dont mind sharing it if people are interested. If you want to trade old school prodigy style, I would love to hear the Friday show

the show saturday was epic. i'll probably pick up that's night show just for the energy and friday's because of the set list.

still haven't seen: (that i would love to see)

indifference

deep (friday arrghh)

Semirelated...

Someone from one of the Philly radio stations said they ended up in the same box Pearl Jam was hanging out in last night at the Phils game. They said Ed's bodyguard was holding people off when the game was going on but he was cordial and open to talking to people betwee innings. This person said he was sitting and writing while the game was going on so they wondered how interested in it he even was but when he got up they noticed it was a score book, he was keeping score of the game. BTW, he was wearing a Phils hat.

Yeah, someone else on the show mentioned that. Pretty cool he was showing some love to the host city though.
