I can't believe I'm getting up at like 5AM tomorrow...So sounds like tomorrow night is wide open (no "secret" PJ show at the Vic). Our hotel is near the Vic, btw...Cubs game Friday (no tickets yet) and then heading to Lake Geneva/hotel about an hour after game. The guy driving doesn't want to party in Chicago Friday night, so that's out. Leave from Chicago Monday morning so tomorrow and Friday day will be the extent of my Chicago time.Will send you my number. Otherwise, TU has it. ETA YOUR inbox is full. Get my number from TU. BTW, there are four of us at that Lake Geneva hotel who haven't really secured plans to and from the show yet... The rest of our group are on one of the big buses, and I think we are on some waiting list for that now as well (for Saturday). Doubt we go early on Sunday though... So, it's looking more and more like we'll be cabbing it at some point.

Hey Guys - just crazy buzy at work, so I probably won't be able to send out that phone list until Thursday. We've had a slight change in plans in that Zilla and TRE are no longer going to be able to make it, so TU and I will be renting a car Saturday morning in Chicago and driving to the hotel from there.We still plan on using BeTheMatch's parking passes in the VIP lot, so that sound like a good possible meeting spot. I guess SLBD might have a bus as well in that lot. Either way, I'll keep everyone in the loop via text if you have given me your #. So update...since TU and I are in the same hotel as Bobcat10; it makes a lot of sense to share a cab over there so we won't have to worry a bout drinking and driving after the show (assuming long waits in the parking lot...and doing that sober blows). So we won't be utilizing BeTheMatch's parking passes, which means we won't have a car in those spots. I'm not sure how the Alpine parking situation works, but I assume if we have the passes that we can still take the real estate? Either way, that's BTM's call in case he wants to try to sell them or whatnot. I'll be sending an email out to everyone who PM'd me with their cell #. TU, Bobcat10, his buddy, and myself will be leaving the Hampton Inn at noon on Saturday; so I'd imagine that puts us to the venue no later than 1 (building a lot of time in for traffic). I'd definitely be interested in the VIP pass for Sunday, either to use for my car to hold the space for us, or just to buy it of BTM wants to sell it. Not sure how he could get it to me at this point though.

Bull Dozier is taking one spot for Sunday. So I've been trying to follow along but am not sure if I am - what's the tailgating plan? Is SLBD going to serve as the base in the RV lot? Are we going to use my VIP spaces? Doesn't sound like we have that many people anymore, so we should probably coordinate so we're all in one spot for the festivities.

I've debated on bringing a small pack that has straps and either bringing it in with me or just leaving it with the cooler. In that case, why don't we go ahead and make that the defacto meeting spot for now. If something changes wtih SLBDs bus, then I cna communicate those changes..but for now, let's plan on meeting in those spots. I figure the earliest we can be there is 1-1:30 give or take. Somebody told me they thought they heard that if you pay for shipping when you buy the poster and they will mail it to you. Not sure how they will pull that off but it's something to keep in mind. Maybe it's only at the stand outside the venue?

I doubt I will be able to sell my stand alone lawn seat to buy your tix but worth a shot I guess if I meet up with you guys at tailgate

Just got power back from Hurricane Irene (out since late Saturday), so maybe it is for the best that I did not jump on this party train. But, godspeed to all attendees. Post some updates from the venue if you are not freaking out too much!

My plan is to go right to the box office and offer to sell the lawn tix at face value or a tad less to someone who doesn't want to wait in line. If that works out, you can have the extra wristband. I'd promise it to you outright, but I want to keep it as bait in case selling the tix themselves is difficult

Definitely understand. ThanksJust finished packing. My wife bought me pull and peels and starburst for the flight Tried to get my chair in my luggage but no go. Will have to figure it out.:stoked:
