***Official Pearl Jam Thread*** (3 Viewers)

My first thought is that the stadium shows could be epic...given a day off for "rest" in between. I wonder if these are the PJ25 celebrations, they referenced earlier?

Day in between the stadium shoes for weather?

The pit is tame. My wife stood in the Milan pit close to the stage and never complained once. Just means no assigned seats. These aren't mosh pits lol.

Basically 100% convinced they're gonna do something epic at the Toronto show.

Neil Young seems a given. Maybe the Guess Who, for a cover of "running back to saskatoon"

nothing original, they've done this before in canada, but for the 25th anniversary, it makes sense to do a "best of"

No way Im standing in a GA pit. Im 38 years old and those days have long passed me by

I will be going for reserved tickets in NYC and maybe throwing in a Fenway show.
Come on. Dude, you're hardcore - a Pearl Jam pit isn't going to faze you. I'll be 44 for these shows and applied for GA before reserved at every show.

Guys, im not fearful of the pit. I was in sick of it all pit at CBGBs. I was in the pit with EG at Agnostic Front in wetlands.

The pit doesn't bother me. The standing all night does. I like a seat so I can sit. I'm that guy sitting when everyone is standing.

It also doesnt help that Frodo and Samwise are taller than I am and I can't see anything

Duuude. You're 38. I'm 58 and I'd do the pit... :headbang:

...if I could bring my lightweight camping stool.

NYC only.

Who is applying for NY and what nights?

Is your 2nd ticket spoken for?

There is always a possibility my work gets pushed, so I'm not sure I want to take risk on $188 x 2 and then get screw jobbed. One show, I'm probably OK with that. I'm not looking for anyone to commit their extra ticket to me upon your post, just seeing where everyone is at and where the possibilities may be.

I did monday 1, sunday 2Ticket unspoken for.

Might go back and do GA also so two more shots

The ticket prices are per PAIR

Fenway and Wrigley are not part of this lottery. They are separate, in February. I don't see prices yet for them.

The Garden is going to be a bear to secure. Hours in and the chances of landing tickets are super low.

New York, NY- GA Standing 19% New York, NY- Reserved Seating 42% New York, NY- GA Standing 21% New York, NY- Reserved Seating 46%

I would definitely do it. Worst case, you'll find someone who will gladly give you their reserved for GA

I might just put in for GA. If I get shut out, does it effect my Fenway odds at all?

Don't think so. No news on the baseball shows yet

$188 was a pair at MSG. I think I am gonna put in for pit only for the Sunday MSG show, and then go all out for Fenway options.

Driving back to R.I. after the show ends in NYC is always an adventure when flying solo. Ct. goes on forever, and my eyes get very heavy. Last time I slept for an hour in McD parking lot just over the R.I. line. My concert buddy lives in Brooklyn so I just pick him up on the way.

The positive in this is that I still can put the kids on the bus Monday morning so my wife doesn't care if I'm gonna all night.

Might have to try for one of the Wrigley shows. Missed out last time. Could make it a weekend. Hmm....
See you there.
What will these run if you aren't a Club member? Already kicking the tires on a trip to make a couple games of the weekend series against the Brew Crew and then catch the Jam on the 20th.

MSG tickets are $188 EACH?
thought that was for a pair. ####, I dont have that money. Bobcat better be able to go with me
All the prices I saw were per pair but I didn't look at any prices outside of FL. I thought someone in this thread said they were 188 each. Could have just been a mistake. That seems exorbitant.
Yeah no way PJ is asking 188ea for a standard show. Glad to see it was a pair. $95 is still high but in today's world with 20 different bull#### companies having hands out to be able to play a show, there's not much we can do.

How does Pearl Jam keep the prices down? They're still through Ticketmaster, no? I just dropped $225 a pop to be on the floor for Tool.

Almost all of the public sales are through Ticketmaster.

To attempt to answer your question, they don't go out of their way to rape their loyal fanbase?

I'm pretty annoyed to pay that for a concert. For sure. I guess when so many people are consuming your art for free now you have to make a living in other ways?

Hope I can land a couple tickets for the show in Tampa. I missed them the last time they were here 10 years ago. Same year the Cubs played the Rays and could only afford to go to one. I chose poorly.

Tool prices are just astronomical. Would be more expensive to go to their (crappy venue) show in Charlotte than the NFC Championship game.

Just saw Tool last night. had 8th row on the side risers near the stage. Face was 75 but I got them free through a radio station buddy. I think floor was $100. I'm guessing SOME of it is market dependent.

You're in for a treat... they put on a phenomenal show. It was my 3rd and a buddy's 5th. We both agreed it was the best we've seen from them.

Nice! Setlist?

Face here was $85, but as soon as they went on sale through Ticketmaster they were gone. EG started a thread about it. The brokers are gouging like crazy. Anything on the floor through a broker was $175, and after they bust you for the service fees and taxes they're effing $225. It's ridiculous, but it's just money. Beats sitting at home watching Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives re-runs.

Well, that's a completely different post from what you made your initial post sound like. People will drop double or triple face for PJ or EV solo.

They were gone immediately on Ticketmaster. As in they must have already been sold to someone else (brokers for the band) before they were even made "available" to the public. Nobody trying to buy them on Ticketmaster was able to get tickets.

Obviously the tickets at MSG are through Ten Club and are being sold at face value. I guess the same price gouging could/will be happening when they go on sale to the general public 1/29.

Setlist: http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/tool/2016/landers-center-southaven-ms-53f39ff9.html

Given Tool performs to a video wall, they keep setlists semi-consistent night to night. Used the previous nights list to plan beer runs, bathroom breaks. Works like a charm.

Any word on coming west of the Mississippi?
There will be a second/third leg to cover central and western US but nothing announced yet.
How sure are you of this happening?

We're currently mulling over taking the 6 hour drive to Lexington, but due to several factors if there's a good chance of a Summer/Fall tour that offers more midwest options we're thinking waiting is the best option.

It's possible one of my friends will have a spare set of tix for Columbia SC. If so I'll post here. They'll be reserved lower bowl, probably halfway back at least, possibly back on the floor by the soundboard.

Just noticed this:

*Members can enter for New York and Philly shows, but can only possibly be drawn for one of the two shows in each city. We have a lot of members in those cities and we want to spread the love. For example, you can enter for both ticket options GA and Reserved for both Philly shows resulting in 4 total entries, but you can only possibly be drawn for 1 of those 4 entries.
That sort of messes things up if you want to go to both shows in Philly or NYC.
