I don't play it, but my son has it. Can't comment on the gameplay -- although he seems to like it -- but the graphics in this game are mind-blowing. If somebody just wandered through the room while this game was being played, they could easily mistake it for a television broadcast at first glance.

You have the one year from Sony and they sell the same warranty extensions in the Playstation store if you really want to add the extra time to your protection.
Just waiting on Christmas to get here so I can unpack the PS4's I bought on release day. I'll be on BF4 on PS4 then. Until then, I'm stuck playing the game while it crashes on PS3!!

I was playing around with the PS4 at Best Buy the other day and the controller does seem much improved. I don't know if it was as good as the 360, but that's only because I didn't have enough time to spend with it. It's bigger and more solid than the PS3 controller was for sure.

Yeah, ridiculous imo. I have a PS3 and a 360...not that big of a deal to play games on either for me. I think the dual vibration and sound in the control are cool gimmicks and the controller is a bit wider which is nice for my giants hands, but I'm not creaming my pants over this controller.

I've played all of the previous asses and I find them fun for a day or two and then incredibly repetitive. Have you played this one?
This fact generally makes it the "online repetitive getting killed guy." Hard to be casually into those games if getting jacked up online bothers you.
It doesn't bother me, it just gets repetitive. My bro has the COD and we did a bunch of team things. It's basically just how fast you can run around and beat the other guys to the punch. Doesn't even really matter how many times you die (at least for you score). Sometimes I did pretty well, sometimes not (especially when I got pretty drunk, woo!).
Much like the previous versions, I does get repetitive. However, I love the sea battles. The game honestly feels like an update on Sid Meier's Pirates as much as the next installation of the AC world. The naval battles are incredible and the game is fun just for that part alone.
I have not played Injustice Gods Among us but it is getting really good reviews. I think the basic premise is it is a superhero fighting game that has a campaign. It just seemed like something completely different from the shooters that are the majority of games for PS4 now.
The offset joysticks is a big factor for me, but it depends on the game. For instance, fighting games are much better without them (PS) and FPS are much better with it (Xbox).
That looks about right, the best I have been seeing is PS3 for $199 but that did not come with Arkum CIty.
if I am just getting this to hold over for 6mos-1year until PS4 is in regular supply, do I need the 250GB versus the 12GB? I do plan to utilize streaming from Netflix as well as PS Plus, so I think 12GB is going to go quickly.
Prices are dropping on ebay, ps4 will be in regular supply shortly after xmas i would guess
Personally I think it is BF4, it is gorgeous and the gameplay is very solid. There are still some glitches that they are trying to fix but it hasn't been too bad for me.
Holy crap a 12? I thought it was a typo and it really was a 120. Yeah don't get a 12GB that is a waste of time.
No and the day one update is not very long at all. It is 308 MB.
The price is pretty bad too. People were getting much better bundles for $199 earlier this year.
I didn't get that one, but it does come with a game and a $40 controller.
Yeah, I could have probably walked out the front door and made $50 selling it to the next guy in line. There was quite a crowd of people there by the time I walked out. Hey LS... doing it now. I am going to use the free trial to download the games and I have to create an online id to redeem it. Can Jr. create his own online ID with his membership he gets for Xmas or does he have to use the one I am creating now? He won't be happy if he can't have his own ID.
Don't know about the PS4 but on the PS3 you could have sub accounts (his) under the main account (yours). Just choose which you want to log into as you starte the machine up.
