***Official*** Ran a 10K FFL - Can anyone catch the old man? (1 Viewer)

You know what would be sort of fun and add to this league?

If each week, the loser of a game had to do a workout the winner created for him. It would have to be reasonable and doable by the loser, IOW Steve couldn't tell me to do 20 miles at a 6 minute pace, but he could tell me to do 5x1 mile intervals with a few minutes of rest between. Duck couldn't tell his loser to do 20,000 feet of incline, but a reasonable hill workout would be fair game. You'd have a week to do it, we'd then post how we did.

Obviously we'd have to consider the loser's racing schedule.

I'd like to officially congratulate Milkman for managing to have a worse team than me this week. That's quite the accomplishment. :bow:

 
He should have stopped at an aid station and put somebody in for Peterson and Cameron instead of drinking stale coke and popping blisters. .

I'm happy to stay at .500.

I had a look at the playoff bracket and it looks like the loser's bracket is a mish mash of consolation games. I hereby nominate that the league institute a toilet bowl playoff so we can have a winner and a "winner". Much more interesting than just tossing away the bottom 8 guys.

 
OH wow, I had the Packers D/ST and completely forgot about the Thursday night game. Damn that would have been sweet to use that on the one Packers homer in the league too. Double whammy against myself.

 
We need to reconfigure how trades are processed. I accepted an offer but the site says it will be processed on October 14th (NEXT Tuesday). That gives me the use of the player I'm trading this week, and frankly he'll probably do better this week than who I'm getting, but it seems unfair to the other team.

Yeah, this should be processed at the time the trade is accepted.

I can see the issue if one player has played already, but that's (obviously) not the case.

 
On the trading thing the whole voting to allow or disallow a trade is kinda silly. I trust that this group won't do anything completely dumb in this area (obvious exception -> me).

Yeah, sorry about that fellas. I was a little busy that weekend. If I had been a little faster, I could have checked my lineup. Next 100.....

Also a question for Steve. In my division there are three guys at 6-3, but the guy with the worst division record is listed in first place. That doesn't seem right. Any explanation for the seeding there?

I returned the favor by leaving Brady on the bench in favor of Kaepernick. I thought the wind would bother Brady. Lesson learned.

Apparently I play fantasy football a lot like I run half marathons. Great start then all I needed was one win over five weeks to make it and...none.

 
172.9 in week 13 ... after being eliminated from playoff contention with 2 straight losses. Way to play big when it counts Team Phatdawg!

 
LOL I'm in! Three FF leagues this year. Three playoff births. My vag hurts!
