*** OFFICIAL *** rap super group draft (3 Viewers)

8.09 Murs

I needed to add some West Coast flavor and there are very few MCs doing it at a consistently high level like Murs. Guy pretty much started the Paid Dues festival as well.

8.11 - T.I. - MC

The self-proclaimed, "King of the South." And for awhile, he was living up to that moniker. Has fallen on tough times of late with his jail sentences and his last album really was poor. But if you look at "King" and "Paper Trail" those are two incredibly well put together albums with acclaim from the hip-hop world as well as mainstream publications. Another artist who is able to flow on a variety of diverse tracks, he's worked with some of the biggest names in hip-hop today (Jigga, Kanye, Weezy, Scarface, Nas, Game, etc.). He's a perfect fit to join the other "tortured souls" in this collective and has show the ability not only to share his pain and his inner-turmoil, but also make hits. TIP is a true artist.

I actually think he's underrated as an MC.

But then again, I think sometimes with hip-hop, we as fans/listeners have different opinions as to what makes a good "MC." I think that's going to really play a role as we evaluate each other's groups.

Mase had some dope stuff when he first dropped. Take a little Children of the Corn Mase, mixed with the Harlem World Mase and it's not a bad pick at all.

My Mac Miller pick is actually as the wildcard. He is very new, but has a ton of talent. Listen to Frick Park Market and Wear my hat. Will post links but I'm on the mobile site. Mac is my wildcard because he wouldn't be in all the songs, hr would be used for a lot of choruses, and drop a verse on some songs.J.Cole has as much pure rapping skill as any rapper right now, will be a future superstar.MCs:Big BoiDr. DreMike ShinodaFabulousJ. ColeProducers:Diamond DJam Master JayWildcard:Mac Miller
I'm from Pittsburgh. I have friends who went to HS with Mac Miller and are friends with him to this day. And I don't think he is anything special.

8.15 flex -- ILLMATIC ALBUM COVER

We've reached the point of the draft where guys like Krayzie Bone are being selected. I'd rather not muck my supergroup up with some kind of hack, so with my flex pick, I give the greatest group ever the greatest album cover ever.

Great pick. If not for my favorite MC still being on the board, I wouldve picked him. 3:16 is one of my favorite albums of recent memory. Im not sure if Usual21 is a fan or not, but he wouldve been a perfect fit in a supergroup with 9th Wonder.

Wait. If we can do stuff like this I'm changing my pick.

i have a question. if i wanted to, could i move lauryn hill to the flex spot and draft another mc? Does being in the flex spot mean you can only rhyme part time?
