:bye: I'll be here all year haters.(Brad Lidge is on the block, if you need him,)
Glad to see you can be on the right side of so many things:Baseball - Hate the Red Sox - I have a feeling that is going to end badly for you this season.Football - REALLY hate Patriots - How's that working out for you?Basketball - You say you like the Celtics so you should be alright there since the Celts look to be primed to have a good season.Hockey - Do you have a preference? - Because the Bruins have started out 6-3.College Football - BC Eagles causing you some sleepless nights?Sorry the Boston sports scene causes you so much pain. It must really be frustrating to go through life hating the best sports town in America when all they do is keep winning championships and producing top teams.
If Boston's so great and you're so smug about it all, why the hell are you in Pennsylvania instead of good old Beantown?
Really good point. Noticed that here.Alias lives in NY I think.Pat lives in Penn.Icon in Memphis. The Finless alias is allegedly based in Denver.Seems like no Boston guys live there. Even the Boston Sports Guy lives in Cali. Not a big deal, just weird.
For whatever reason, I've always found that relocated New Englanders are much more rabid about their teams than the ones that stayed.

When you have to put up with in-your-face NY'ers for 15+ years you tend to get fanatical.

How many 4 - 0 series has there been? I mean it wasnt even close. Would have liked to seen it close.
3 of the last 4 world series have been sweeps (Red Sox over Cards, White Sox over Astros, Red Sox over Rockies)the Yankees also had 2 sweeps in a row recently (98 over Padres, 99 over Braves).so, that's 5 times in the past 10 years. seems to be a pretty common occurence lately.

Rockies can still recover. :banned:

Congrats to the Red Sox fans. A good season all the way around with timely performances in the post-season.

I think beisbol jumped the shark for me when the Astros made the World Series after the Pujols game. When they were a strike from winning the Pennant, all I could think about was the hope they'd win the World Series. Then, Pujols hits his jack and we're going to game 6. They win, and I was so emotionally spent from game 5 that as happy I was for them to win the Pennant, I was luke-warm watching the WS. Ever since, whereas I used to skip class in college to catch the day playoff games regardless of who was playing, now I just check the scores in the morning. :end rant:

Congrats again to the Red Sox. With any luck, you'll win the payroll title next year as well.

BuckholzPedroiaEllsburyLesterDelcarmenYoukilisI dont think the Sox will be catching the Yankees anytime soon. Unless of course the Sox foolishly sign A-Rod. Then all bets are off.

Lighten up, W!lked. It's a 6 month long thread where my ### is hanging out the whole time...I'm entitled to make snarky comments, if only for continuity's sake.

Good thing Sox fans have gotten over being so ridiculously sensitive. :boxing:
