I am a big proponent of the 'never bench your studs' theory. I guess my question is, how many consecutive non-studly games does a guy have to play before he's no longer in that category?

I can't be the only Wayne owner whose team scoring has gone way down lately because our WR1 has been playing like a WR4.

With the Colts already clinched and a short rest week coming against Jacksonville, are we still rolling the dice and hoping that Peyton remembers how good Wayne used to be or are we putting our playoff hope on someone else?

My playoff chances go waaaaay down if I get another 4 catch for 50 yard performance.

With all due respect, I would greatly enjoy a 4 for 50 performance this week.

I do expect him to score Thursday. I just don't think he gets held down another week, especially w/ Clark just having blown up and facing a Jax D/ST that rarely allows a TE touchdown. It's Wayne's turn. Hope I'm wrong.

I'm thinking about benching him this week. I have 3 others that are playing for something. He may very well have a good game but what if he only plays 1/2 the game on Thursday. If I didn't have options though, I wouldn't have problems starting him either. Still on the fence..

I have to start him..he is my WR1 on one of my team's that is playing again this week (still alive baby thanks to the 49ers 7 turnovers). He will blow up again. He has too!!!

don't know. benched him last week for holmes because i saw it coming a mile away. this week, i just don't know... if he is guaranteed to start the full game i think i'd roll with him over moss but i would like to start desean jackson this week and if it's up in the air i think i'd rather role with desean jackson over reggie wayne and i don't think there's anyone in the world that could blame me for that.

I'm the #1 seed going into the playoffs, and I play a streaking #4 seed on a 4 game win streak. Wayne and Jennings were my top WR picks, and LT2 and Slaton were my top RB's...it's a bloody miracle I made it this far (Drafted Rice LATE, waivers for P. Thomas after he was dropped in week 3, traded J. Jones for Bowe, picked up Austin).

I'm worried that Wayne's foot is part of the issue. This week I get Bowe back, but none of my WR's have been really dependable. I'm probably going with Wayne, Bowe, and Austin this week as I can't stomach benching Wayne, and I don't trust H. Ward or Jennings to be dependable. I can win with some average performances, but a 1-17-0 line will kill me as I don't have many big game threats.

If you watch the games, you'd know that they are doubling him. Jaguars are one of the worst defenses though, and went for 10/162/1 in Week 1. I'm not too worried. He performed so well early on, he was bound to falter sometime

Win or loose, this week will be the last time he starts for me.

Champ Bailey did a great job on him last week. Jacksonville doesn't have a CB like that and they have struggled against the pass.

Starting him with confidence until and if they lose. Then I might start sweating when he gets pulled....

I'm glad I know what I am talking about

ugggh, due to the colts possibly sitting starting players, the revis effect, im considering sitting wayne for austin collie.

Well, Wayne probably won't sit unless Manning does and is Collie with Painter at QB really any better than a quarter or 2 of Wayne?I have a choice between Wayne, Collie and Harvin and I'm currently leaning toward Wayne.

It sucks but I'm gonna have to sit wayne down and go with a free agent (JHarrison)

Revis and the possibility of him getting pulled is just too much risk. If you have faith in your alternative sit reggie

I think the Colts want 16-0 more than their letting on. If a player is injured, I see him sitting or getting limited play time. (ala Freeney/ Mathis). Otherwise, I think the Colts play to win. I know the Revis effect scares off a lot of people, but if any QB/WR combo can beat that it is Manning/Wayne. They work real hard to get Wayne the ball by moving him all around and that will get Wayne away from Revis some. Wayne runs some of the best routes in league to so he may not get that huge play, but I can definitly see him getting a lot of 10-15 yard catches tat will add up. Personally unless I hear info that Wayne will not play but 1 or 2 series in this game, I am rolling with Wayne.

I REALLY hope that is true, both as a Wayne owner and as someone who would love to see a 19-0 season. I'd hate to see the Colts piss away a chance at history out of fear of hurting players. Especially since resting players has cost them before. I can understand sitting someone with a current injury like Freeney or Garcon, but not guys like Manning or Wayne.

I'm riding Wayne into the Super Bowl, but thinking of sitting him in the big game for one reason - Darrelle Revis.

My problem is lack of options behind him and Driver. The decision depends on the potential upside of your replacement.
