***OFFICIAL ROOKIE WIDE RECEIVER THREAD*** (1 Viewer)

Desean Jackson looks poised to explode IMO. McNabb is healthy and so is Westbrook. I think that Desean lights it up this week vs. the Rams. Eddie Royal, Josh Morgan, and James Hardy could also contribute. Another early pick at WR that could put up some points is Jordy Nelson in Green Bay with the injuries they have at wideout.

Who is rolling week 1 with a rook at wideout? Me, I had to choose between Royal and Jackson and chose Jackson. Rams defense seems to be a little bit more forgiving to wideouts than Oaklands.

Looks like I made the wrong choice on Sunday, not a surprise it is pretty much par. I was :lmao: after Desean played, but I was :lmao: :lmao: after watching Royal on the field.

Royal looked fantastic, reminds me a lot of Greg Jennings. If he can stay healthy, he could push 10-12 touchdowns even as a rookie. As was mentioned in his thread, it appears the Broncos want to come up with ways to get the ball in his hands.

Desean Jackson looked good as well, although I am looking at a stat line and not actual game footage. I look at these two as the cream of this crop.

Jordy Nelson was a non factor in the other game.

How did some of the other rookies look homers?

Me too. A smaller version of Jennings.

Looks like Jordy Nelson, James Hardy, Desean Jackson and Eddie Royal are all going to be contributors this season. For a receiving class that didn't have a first rounder in it, this certainly may have the makings of a pretty talented group.
