***Official*** Saturday Night Football Game Thread (1 Viewer)

Dallas will win this one and come back from the dead. Man how quick everyone is to jump ship. Well atleast all the Cowboy haters loved to jump on top of them after last week. Step off cause the Romo train will be back on track after this one.

38-20 Dallas

Unfortunately it's on NFL Network, and those of us who do get it have to listen to that idiot Gumbel. :( That guy couldn't cover a tiddly winks match. But I guess I can always put the tv on mute. At least I get to watch the game. ;)

in the semi-finals in 2 leagues:

Starting Vick in one, while facing him in the other. Quite the conundrum.

Rich Eisen just announced that Jerious Norwood will be inactive tonight. No big surprise but at least it's official now. No word yet on Warrick Dunn.

Rooting for Dunn (over T.Jones) in one playoff, Romo in another, and Gramatica too. If it doesn't work out for those players, I'll still be happy when the Cowboys win.

I am hoping Romo plays well enough that I am not giving up too many points to Brees who is my opponents Qb this week.

This game on paper looks to be stacked in Romo's favor in every conceievable way. But thats why they play the games. :lmao:

Semifinal to get to the SB this weekend...i'm starting Romo but my opponent is a Cowboy freak and has TO, MBIII, and Witten. I'm hoping for the Patrick Crayton Show!! (going against Glenn in another)

Torn tendon for TO in a finger. Explains some drops. Interesting that they say he won't ever be able to bend it again since he opted out of the surgery.

same favre vick dilema and havent played favre all year yet have him in the lineup now

the reason i am leaning towards favre is he only needs 5 tds to break marinos record and has two home games left, you would assume theyd want to give him a chance. Am I over coaching??

No depending on SopCast for for NFLN for me tonight. Channel 21 in Dallas is showing the game, just like they do when the 'boys play on ESPN. :wall:

Vick 7-0 in games that are played on national t.v., I'm saying ATL.
No concerns that this game is only "National" for some subscribers?I'm with ya, I need Vick, but I'm just sayin'.....Personally, I'm finally glad that a good game is going to be on the NFL-N, I hope. Maybe that will get me not to notice the announcing.....but I doubt it.

Benched Vick for eli this week in a big playoff game. (I am garanteed at least 700.00 if I win) Hate to bench the guy who got me to the playoffs but I think Dallas is going to come out angry and take it out on vick.

So will we see any plays with Vick @ RB and Schaub @ QB? Especially if Dunn can't go the whole game?
Adam Schefter said there is ONE play in the gameplan for Vick at RB, and it is a gimmick play.
He also said that the Falcons are concerned about Dallas and Roy Williams getting shots at Vick, so that would limit him as a RB (minimizing his exposure to hits).
Sounds like smart thinking. I'm surprised Roy has injured more players with his hits.

What a happened to Collingsworth? Not complaining, just curious.

ETA: Gumbel now says he has other NBC duties in NYC.

The football game on that Nissan "Iron Man" commercial is a USFL game -- Houston Gamblers v. Tampa Bay Bandits. I guess since the league is defunct they got a good deal on the footage.
