Positions of need heading into the draft were WR, TE and LB. other than that just went BPA in my eyes. If you don't play in a 32 man league you have no idea how valuable starting Ks can be. Getting Sturgis at pick 68 may be the steal of the draft.

Team needs were WR. Would have loved to take either Gurley or Yeldon as my college player but I'm pretty well set at RB with Martin, Charles, Ingram, Stacy and Blount. Needed WR help badly so I took Lee, who I think is the best WR in the last 3 drafts. Also took Patterson, who I believe is the best WR in this class. Got Patterson in both my dynasty rookie drafts as a matter of fact.

Rookie draft after a dispersal draft in a league I joined. 12 team, PPR, pretty standard. I was pretty set at RB (Forte, Gore, MJD, Ivory, DRich) but had a weakness at TE and WR.

2.01 - Keenan Allen, WR

2.09 - Travis Kelce, TE

3.01 - Da'Rick Rogers, WR

3.02 - Marquess Wilson, WR

3.08 - Matt Barkley, QB

If I'd been picking higher I'd have targetted some young RBs, but they'd all gone by 2.01. I was delighted with Allen at 2.01. Kelce may have been a bit of a reach, but I think he could really hit. Rogers and Wilson are boom/bust picks, which I was happy to do in the 3rd and Barkley could be good fantasy value if he starts in Chip's offense.

 
12 team full IDP draft. Traded my 1st rounder last season for a combo including Josh Gordon.

2.10 Alec Ogletree. Needed LB help badly, and I think he can be a stud.

4.01 Terrance Williams. WR3 in Dallas to start the season, can take over from Austin soon.

4.10 Denard Robinson. Fell into the hype.

5.10 Marquise Goodwin. 4.27 time can't be taught.

12 team IDP draft. Traded my 1st rounder in a package for Ray Rice.

2.10 Terrance Williams. As Above.

4.07 Marquise Goodwin. As Above.

5.07 Chris Harper. Good situation, been reading a lot of good things about him.

EBF very interesting to see you are still liking Ware, especially with the depth chart woes and the fullback talk. Also, obvious you had a lot of low picks. Trade out of the high picks or are your teams generally solid so lower draft slots?

Ware was a flyer for most of these teams. Either a very late 4th round pick or a free agent pick up. So while I have him in a lot of places, my commitment to him was very low. I've always said that I like it when my favored prospects end up in ugly situations because it allows them to fall to me in my drafts. It doesn't get any uglier than landing in a stacked Seattle backfield and getting switched to fullback. Ware looks totally hopeless, but you just never know. The NFL is not predictable.

I didn't have a lot of high picks this year. Partially because most of my teams were decent and partially because I traded away a couple high picks. I did have the 1.03 in one league and actually spent it on Eifert. That was not a wise move from an upside standpoint, but he was the only candidate that I trusted. In that league I jumped back into the top 10 and grabbed Hunter to give me a high ceiling guy from this class.

Those two things aren't mutually exclusive.

 
I traded OUT of all picks this year and picked up 2014 picks. Picking up a round higher for next year still works when you wait until your almost on the clock and announce intentions of trading out.

Got most of what I wanted, but missed out on Ansah and Hunt by one pick each, which makes me moderately sad, but I think I got a solid group out of the "expected to be OK" end of the draft, and a couple of the guys I was high on at the end (even if Ware is likely to never be relevant due to situation and the switch to FB).

Ill try n update soon. Couldnt believe he was still there. There was a run on idps in the second. Im guessin not many wr as patterson went at pick eleven. He was the third wr off tge board. Woods went i believe.

I needed to get youth and depth in my LB core and was able to do that with Moore and Hodges. Taylor and Stills were last round flyers. Taylor is going anywere from the late 2nd too early 4th in most of my other dynasty leagues so I was happy to land him with the 2nd to last pick of the draft. If he doesn't get significant playing time this year I can always stash him on my taxi squad for a year or two.

I overloaded on 2013 ones and decided to make all the picks instead of trading low. Didn't garner much interest for them.

Didn't have a 1st rounder, but I did have two 4ths. Made the playoffs so I had the 10th pick.

5.11- Jonathan Cyprien (traded 6.10 & Pettigrew for it)

I couldn't believe Eifert fell that far, & that 2 TEs were taken before him. I already had Graham, Pitta (& Dickson), & Pettigrew (who I traded) but just felt like he was the BPA at the time.

I targeted Wilson & was happy with him there. I missed on Knile Davis before 4.3 so went Boyce. Not a Pats fan but if he does well maybe I can flip him. Minter was a target for me in the 4th, as well as Nassib in the 5th (have Eli & I'm a Giants fan). Moved up for Cyprien because I think he's startable right out of the gate. Overall I'm pleased with the way it turned out.

This is the link to the main page. Our Commish doesn't really set up the rookie draft using the computer software but if you go through the transactions you can put the rookie draft together. Keenan Allen was my 3.06 pick not 4.06. The message board also has the draft by rounds but is missing the 5th round.

12-teamer, 0.5 ppr dynasty with 22 man rosters (26 during offseason). Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, TE, DST, a RB/WR flex, and a WR/TE flex.

I probably overpaid for Michael, Taylor and Burkhead but I like them and I needed to start taking chances on RBs. Next year I'll probably need to do something about my TEs or possibly trade out some WR depth once Gordon is back from suspension and Crabtree looks to be healthy.

Players I've targeted in most of the leagues are Tyler Eifert, Christine Michael and Josh Boyce. The earliest pick I've had so far is the 1.07 with most falling at the end of each round.
