I guess you guys didn't read the latest ESPN the mag, the nfl brings in special grass for the game. The local crew has nothing to do with the field, it's all a specific super bowl team that takes care of installing it.

You're right. I haven't read it. But they said earlier it's the 3rd set of turf this year.

It may have required changing, as with all other Super Bowl sites, but the fact that they had to change it twice before AND this fresh install is having the same issues, points to some kind of location fault. And I'm curious what that might be. I guess I'll just Google it, as I'm sure there's some logical explanation out there.

Any superbowl that gets half way into the 4th quarter that is a one score game is good to me.. but people are spoiled lately by all the offense so a defensive game is to them.
