Im actually OK with anyone winning whose name doesnt end in an i. Sure, I have a pecking order, but I wont be upset.

Keith would be one of the worst winners of all time.
 likable guy, that doesn't stir things up and is a beast when it comes to challenges..

Sure, not the "game player".. But just on the way he competes in the challenges for being a "county bumpkin" would garner a few votes.

Think of it this way.. final 3 Abi, Kimmi & Keith.. who you voting for?

Based on what? The game consists of social and challenge skills. He has both. You dont have to be the one with the plan to be a good player.
His social game is based on his utter lack of strategy. He's never a threat to make a move. He's a complete and total follower. If he wins sitting up there with Jeremy, Tasha, Spencer or Wentworth, it'll be almost as bad as when Hantz got hosed.

Keith would be great as a winner if we got more people who played like him in future seasons, just messing up the whole "form an alliance on day 1 and pagong all season long" borefest.
It's what made this season fun so far.. Sure there were a couple of "strong" alliances.. But for the most part it was about the "voting blocks" for the week, rather then who you made an alliance with..

I think splitting up the tribes a few times before the merge helped set this up and I hope they continue that trend the next season.

Has Keith ever tried to make any kind of move? Just seems like he lays around and agrees with the majority who to vote off.

The way the game has evolved is the weak taking down the strong. Good strong players have a bulls eye on their backs from day 1. It will be Spencer next.
What cracks me up about Keith is, his so dumb and out of it that he didn't even vote which his bloc last night. He was that weird sole vote on Tasha according to the after show credits.

I actually  watchin it afterwards with his blank face staring at the camera voting for someone completely off the radar.
Yeah that got me too. :lmao:

"Next season" (starting Feb. 17th!!) was filmed before this one, but maybe they did it then, too. Hopefully when they retool for next year's pair, they learn a few things from this one.
I bet they didn't and that's part of the reason why they are showing this one first. Having this superior season out there will let future contestants know there are more options than pagonging, and the producers are now much more likely to randomize often.

The only thing I can think is he knew everyone was voting for Joe and liked competing against Joe (they had two great head-to-head competitions) that he decided to cast his vote for someone other than Joe.

I was baffled, and I seem to remember the same thing on his season. Same exact scenario where he cast a vote completely out of line with where his alliance was voting. I think he's just a dumb country bumpkin.
Yeah, strange. Would have thought if it was part of a plan he would have voted Abi in case they were worried about Joe having an Idol and Joe voting one of the guys, so they could vote Abi out on a tie breaker. I can't figure out how the Tasha vote makes any sense unless he just didn't want to vote for Joe.

Maybe he thought both Joe and Abi would play an idol.

There has never been any indication that Keith has ever thought strategically.

Fishbach surmised in his blog that Keith just wanted to throw it away and not vote for Joe out of respect

I completely disagree. If he didn't think strategically when the tribe had to chose between playing for immunity or getting an upgraded shelter, Joe would have got immunity unchallenged.

It's all part of Keith's master plan.

I'm thankful for survivor wiki so I can educate myself about pagong. I even watched the first season too.

Joe had a bad day. Passed out, got voted out, and his dad kissed him on the lips. That's an awful trifecta

A) Joe won anyway

B) Keith even admitted that his only motivation is that he likes to compete. He was not thinking strategically. He never has.

Maybe his strategy is to be a nice guy, compete hard at challenges and avoid all the back stabbing nonsense. Seems to be working.

I agree, sometimes you have to know where your strengths lie. How many players in Survivor history were strong in challenges, their strategic game and their social game? Keith does well in two of the three so he wouldn't be a bad winner in my opinion.

I expect the all-girl alliance because it's easy for all 4 of them - they basically get to take a (9?) day break from thinking strategically and running iterations - that would be a huge luxury at this stage of the game.

...that said, they can't split their vote with a 4-3 advantage, so we'll be 3-3 after Tasha can't act well enough to throw off Jeremy and spencer, and Jeremy's idol is used next week.

I think the play is Jeremy and Spencer next - than at five Kimmi, Tasha pull in Keith and turn the tables on the other Kelly - and then vote out Keith the next round

If you want to get out Keith, you need to do it as soon as he loses immunity.

don't forget Abi is a complete wild card. all it will take is one of the guys to be convincing enough to her that she's on the bottom of the girl alliance, and she might flip. we already know she's completely irrational.

She is definitly the one I would spend a bunch of time talking nicely to. I cant stand her, but a vote is a vote and I think because of her attitude, she probably has little to no friends IRL and being nice can go a long way with getting her vote.

I don't know if Abi believes her, but Wentworth appears to be doing this.

Wasn't it Kimmi that freaked out on some other chick earlier this season when they suggested an all-girl alliance? But now she wants to start one?

Ugggghhh... counting on Abi for anything..

And her "I'm just thinking of who I want to bring with me to the final 3" :lmao:

Bad play by Spencer, he could have secured Abi in his corner by saying Tasha and others were planning to vote for her and voted out Tasha.
He wanted Abi gone long ago... no idea What the heck abi was thinking.. how in the heck does voting for Keith make any sense.. then again Abi + logic does not compute. :lmao:

That is who those that didn't go on the award had agreed was next. Abi just didn't account for the other three switching to her.

I'm now fine with anyone winning the game, even Kimmi. Just didn't want Abi to win. One of the best seasons ever.

So what has never happened in 31 seasons at tribal?

A tie in the final vote?

Kelly and Jeramy both use their idols leaving no one receiving any votes?

Abi finds the "Get out of Ponderosa Free Card"?

Something pretty boring?

This seems like a good guess.
Thats the first thing I thought of. Have two idols ever been played at the same tribal before?
Yes. In fact, Parvati played two idols on two people in one tribal herself.

My all-time favorite tribal.
