Just thought I should weigh in on the Savage blindside because it absolutely was a blindside. He did not see it coming. I don't recall the playbook that said there is only one kind of blindside that can happen on Surivior but apparently some of you guys are making your own rules and definitions.

And only on this board would this even be brought up never mind argued.

If I lost a swimming race (or really any sort of physical competition of any kind) to Steven, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't ever be able to show my face in public again. Hell, my father and brothers would ridicule me to the point where I'm pretty sure I'd have to avoid them for the rest of my life.

And yes, Wigglesworth had the world's worst plastic surgeon. Pretty sure I could do a better job.

 no kidding. I was shocked he beat Spencer.

You could tell right away by the edit that Jeremy was going to find the 2nd idol. I'm curious to see how he plays it.

Was there any doubt Joe would outlast friggin' Abi in that challenge? I was cracking up at her faux confidence.

I had some doubt. That challenge is built for a chick, especially one with a giant dumper (lower center of gravity) and nothing up top like Abi.

Joe is just the challenge monster of all challenge monsters.

I don't get why Jeremy and Spencer would upset the apple cart and vote for Wiggles. If Fish thinks he is on the bottom of that group, does he think he is at the top of the witches alliance? I can see why Fish would want to shake up things from his point of view, but why would Jeremy risk upsetting his alliance by not sticking to their plan?

I'd like to see a Joe, Keith and Jeremy finale. I think that vote would be interesting.

I see the reasoning for a move.. But IMO it is too soon.. Should have taken out Wentsworth.. Then Spencer and Jeremy could place the target on fish with the other group to further their game along.

I agree that they should have got rid of Wentworth. There's no reason to keep those 3 girls (now they have more than 3?) strong and vote against someone in your own alliance. There is time to get to the bottom half of your alliance once the opposition is defeated. I can see if from Fish, but I thought it was dumb for Jeremy and Spencer to trim their numbers so soon.

Really surprised Stephens name didn't come up. The second the "game advantage" was won by him I thought for sure they'd target him.. I would have.. THAT would have been a great blindside as his diving off told you he feels safe right now.
Good point. First thing I thought when he got the scroll was "he's getting two votes at tribal", since they've done that before (wasn't it Tony?). But not only is he getting two, he's taking one away from someone else. Big advantage. An alliance of 8 should have really thought about that.

But maybe they will for next TC. Highly doubtful that Fish will win immunity... unless the challenge is to see who can drop out of the challenge the quickest.

Fishback is playing very strategically and he did a nice job of convincing those guys to vote his way.

I just don't see fishback winning. He may be very good strategically (too early to say) but he's just never gonna come off as likeable. People can be major game players but still come off well socially. He doesn't have that ability. The way he talks and his facial expressions just always make him look like a snake in the grass sneaking around making moves for himself.

Unless he manages to get all the way to the end alongside a total goat (aby) I don't see any way he gets the votes. His total lack of challenge ability also leaves her zero wiggle room. He just always has to be scheming which means he's eventually going to piss someone off

Yeah, he really is just a complete turd in every way. Not likeable, no athletic skill whatsoever, no redeeming qualities. He's the equivalent of your water heater flooding the basement in the morning, then you get a speeding ticket in the afternoon, then you have explosive diarrhea all night. You look at the toilet paper roll and there's his little weasel face sneering back at you. #### him imo.

"But guys, the dude's nickname was FISH!!"

Okay, so here's how I view things, as of now:

Power Alliance:

Fish (with known Vote Advantage)

Jeremy (with 2 HII)

Spencer

They are the Power alliance because they just made a power move, and they have all of the game advantages right now. They also may have the biggest targets on them (other than Joe), because they just made a move without telling the passive members of the bigger alliance. Although Spencer was originally from the other tribe, Jeremy and Fish now need Spencer because they included him to blindside Wigglesworth. Jeremy is in the best position of these three because of his HII's. I don't think Fish realizes how big a target he has on him now that he has gone behind some alliance members and he has a known advantage in the game.

Passive Alliance:

Kimmi

Tasha

Keith

Joe

I loosely put Joe in this alliance because this is the group he voted with last Tribal. He really is in no alliance because as soon as he loses Individual immunity he will be voted out. The other three have to get together and decide what their strategy is now that the power alliance blindsided wigglesworth without telling them. Do they continue to vote with them or do they try to make a move against them? I think Tasha and Kimmi are going to want to make an aggressive move, and not just sit around and get picked off. Keith is going to do whatever somebody tells him to do.

The Witches Coven Alliance:

Celia

Wentworth

Abi

These three just got back in the game with the last tribal. They now can work the rift between the power alliance and the passive alliance to further themselves in the game. Abi and Celia will probably get further than Wentworth, but they have no shot to win the game because they are so annoying.

Those who still have a shot to win: Jeremy, Spencer, Tasha, Joe, Keith, Wentworth

Abi, Celia, Fish are too unlikeable. I just don't see Kimmi making it to the end. Joe's shot is obviously very small as he has to run the table on immunity challenges to get to the end.

Next tribal is a critical one, especially if Joe stays in the game with immunity. One of the Trios above will lose a member.

Pretty good breakdown. The power alliance jumping in bed with the witches would allow them to pick off social threats while taking along three tomato cans. Long way to go though, it gets mixed up every week so I'm thinking we'll just keep seeing that at least until Joe's gone. Getting him out will lead to two solidified groups IMO.

Bummer for him that he never went and found one of those HIIs.

Last week when Spencer talked Savage out of going for Fish was huge. It was really Joe's last chance for a strategic play. If thy stuck with Fish, he goes home, Wentworth dumps her idol and Savage is still in with some power. Huge play by Spencer there.

In both of his seasons, Spencer has played very well even though he has been on the outs for much of the time. In his first season, he was unfortunate to have been put on a terrible tribe, and this season he has recovered nicely when playing too hard too soon with Shirin blew up in his face.

I personally would be okay if Jeremy, Spencer, Joe, Wentworth, or Tasha won. Even Keith winning would be pretty cool. I think there is an excellent chance the winner comes from that group.

Kass continued to show her class last night by giving the finger to the remaining players when she walked in. Probably the only person she thinks is deserving to win (other than herself) is Ciera who seems to be almost as miserable a person as Kass.

I hope one of the finalists rips Kass' face off during the final tribal. It will probably get them everyone else's vote.

Sadly, I think this is going to be her on-going shtick.

I'm mostly rooting for Joe or Jeremy. maybe Wentworth, but she probably won't make it much further. if Spencer wins, after how much he's had to recover, I would be cool with that too.

does Joe have any strategic play left, other than continuing to win? I assume the first time he loses, he's gone, but I'm wondering if there's any play he's got left. maybe teaming up with Jeremy somehow, because Jeremy wants him to stick around for a bit longer.

Seems like everybody has it as a foregone conclusion that Joe is gone ASAP. It's the one thing they all agree on. I don't see how he could save himself with the current alignment, anyway.

He's stuck, but I am not sure how good his social game is. Amazing he can't even come close to getting a real alliance. He tried to get Stephen out and couldn't convince Savage and he ended up on the short side again. I know you don't want to go against him at some point, but it is also good to have someone that can beat people you want to get out at the end of the game, like Jeremy. Oh well, he is cooked once he loses one.

Joe's play if he loses immunity next week is to target Fish, get Tasha, Kimmy and Keith on his side and pull in Wentworth who he was previously close with in the game. If he could get the other two girls great but he wouldn't need them. A 5-5 vote between Joe and Fish with them making fire would mean he wins. Obviously Fish would have to not use his advantage so it would have to be a blindside.

What is up with the white and black marbles next week? No chance they go back to two tribes, right?

no.. can't be a split with the jury already being built... My guess based on last weeks cold rain and the previews on the rain continuing I'm thinking choice for dry/warm shelter at camp but sacrifice food ... majority rules...

My guess is this immunity challenge.

Also Fishback made a gay pass at Spencer and it seemed like Spencer considered it for a second but then looked right at the camera and turned beet red. Later they were seen swimming together.

Kimmi stabbed Abi to death with a fishing spear, not sure why. Something about the island not being big enough for two women with names that end with the letter i. Pretty hardcore imo.
:lmao: at all of this.

How the hell do returning players, with 9-3 numbers, NOT split the vote? ??? Idiots
Assuming since they didn't play one last week and no one was "looking" for one that they figured no one had one?
doesn't matter.. you ALWAYS split the votes when the numbers are that large.. 5-4 guarantees your group of 9 moves on. 6 votes on one is the definition of "all your eggs in one basket" and they got what they deserved :bye: Savage..
I suspect they knew they had some maybes in their group. If they try to split and Joe+1 goes with the girls, they can send anyone home.
I know this is a little bit old now, but apparently there was quite a bit of worry among some of the members of the larger alliance that Joe and Savage would split off, and that would be enough to mess up a split, especially if at least one of them was in the group of 5.

Based off the editing so far I agree the winner is probably in that group.

yea not sure how i feel about that move. he is going to make enemies now.
makes no sense.. sure you bought the loyalty of one player.. but there are 7 others you just screwed over... Not to mention you only have one idol now to save your own butt.. :loco:

If im jeremey, i want to stay and not go on reward. Bad move. They are going to rally. I think we see another idol play here.

going to be interesting if fishback tells Jeremy & Tasha about his advantage... That would give them 4 votes vs. 4 votes as they'd eliminate one of the 5 then they just need to pull in Abi or Wentworth. .. of course that is IF he'd use which I think he would.

In a normal season it would be a given that Joe would be gone... could see Wentworth tell Fishback and Jeremy she's voting Joe, give her idol to him and vote out Jeremy or Fishback. Would be a great end to what is already a fun night of survivor

Yes.. :bye: Fishback and Wentworth saved her idol.. really good 2 hours.

Isn't the entire point of the "double" vote is so you can really get out who you want out. Why split up your advantage, he deserves to go home... :wall:
