Good grief did she look amazing. I can't think of anyone who looked better at the reunion.

I wish they spent more time talking strategy to people at the reunion, maybe even talk about some of the Ponderosa talks.

Kelly rules. Down 31 lbs, and turned into a different person for that must-win challenge. Did everything right as far as that idol for Keith. Hot as ####. Baller.

Jeremy trying to get Keith's attention in camp was good tv. Keith zoned out in lala land.

I think that was a good move by Jeremy and think he was just trying to get Keith's reaction to him proposing a blindside to Spencer. Keith is an honest guy and he may have said "not Spencer, Kelly said you." Then Jeremy could have offered to jump with them and vote out Spencer. That would have kept him in the game whether Keith had an idol or not.

It seems if Keith had an idol he would have played it the TC before when he was on the chopping block, especially after seeing Wentworth and Jeremy both play theirs. In the end, Jeremy stuck to his alliance and made the right decision.
I felt like Jeremy was playing up his decision for TV. No way he seriously considered taking KW over knobby Spence.

Thought Jeremy played OK but he was never in any real danger until Kimmi flipped. Much easier to play that way. Hell he had 2 idols from early on, gave one away only had to play one at the end.

Wentworth was in trouble from the start and had to play every week. Spenser was almost voted off in the second week. To me both of them played much better than Jeremy due to the thin ice they were always on.

Jeremy was in the top three and that in itself deserves a chance to win...although the speech tugged a little too hard on the hard strings. When most of the jury was crying I knew he had it in the bag.
I think the fact that Jeremy was rarely in real danger reinforces how well he played, not detracts from it.

He built strong relationships (including with people outside his alliance/voting block), thus the reason he wasn't targeted. I've read some of the exit interviews from various players and more than one talked about Jeremy's game play and the relationship they had with him. He was diligent about checking in with people to see where he stood and he was flexible. A great example was when he mended fences with Spencer following the Fishback blindside. He made sure Spencer, he and Tasha were still together. There are several other examples.

Also, he hunted and found idols, he won immunity when he needed to and he had a great final tribal.

I think Kelly was great and it was a good decision by Jeremy to not bring her to the final tribal. I think he still potentially could have beat her, but it would have been close. She proved to be an incredibly strong player without her toolbag dad along to screw up her game.

Not that it mattered, but could Tasha have possibly played the pick a number guess any worse? I guess if she had picked 1 it technically would have been worse, but still, she deserved no votes on that alone.

Keith is a moron. Why hide the fake idol. Should have walked back to camp with it and shown it off all day.
How often do people with real idols do that though? If he does it then I think they will all suspect it's fake.

If Kimmi just targeted Spence instead of Jeremy everything would've changed.

:goodposting:

I think Jeremy's best move was subtlely telling Keith he was going to vote Spencer at 5. This got Keith and Wentworth to vote for Spencer and not him. Then he still voted for Keith.

He played a subtle game, which I think is the best game. A move like keeping Joe in the game longer is a risk, but Jeremy wanted to do it because he knew that Joe took a target off of him. People who overtly try to control the game end up with big targets on their backs or get blamed for taking people out. They either get voted out or they don't get any votes at final tribal because everyone is pissed at them.

The best poker players don't win tournaments because they win a whole lot of All-ins, they win because they avoid having to go all-in very much. This is why Jeremy was so successful. He was

never really a target of anyone.

Why was Joe wearing plastic gloves during the first part of the talk with him?
I seriously want to know this. Did no one else notice? When they talked with him, he had on food-service-type plastic gloves. Then later he didn't have them on anymore. WTH?

Doesnt matter. Its the last time he could use it. It would have forced a different vote.

It wouldnt have forced anything. Jeremy knew Keith was voting for Spencer....game over. So what if Keith had an idol? He gets three votes that dont count and Spencer goes home with two votes.

FYI, Vytas was banned from appearing at the reunion because he left the sequestration location early
. . . and subsequently appeared on social media while the show was still filming, in violation of his contract, blatantly revealing that he had been booted early.

If anyone thought this guy wasn't a doosh before . . . .

When - on the reunion show?

I don't know, Walking Boot - I could have been drunk (OK, fine, I was drunk), but I thought it was so weird I paused the recording to make sure.

It got too late so I shut it down without watching the reunion. I'll be on the lookout for sure when I do watch it.

;) I am interested in this, actually, because krista caught it and it's so weirdly funny if she observed correctly.

Did you miss how paranoid he was? It absolutely could have forced a different vote. Showing it would have at least given him a chance. Extremely dumb play and to say other wise is baffling to me.

He claimed his assistant manages his twitter or whatever.

And, apparently, other contestants in the past have been on social media after getting kicked off, without consequence. But I don't know the history of that. I didn't even notice he wasn't there until it was pointed out.
Heh. I can't go into details but I actually have some experience with this sort of thing. It's in all of these contracts that if they do anything overt to reveal the outcome of the show, they forfeit any obligations the show might have to them (and although I've never seen Survivor's contract, many of these contracts are worded in such a way that the contestants basically owe their lives to the show until the final episode airs and sometimes even for a period beyond), so he probably didn't even get paid for the reunion show. He could argue that others have done the same in the past and have not been punished, but there's standard language in every one of these contracts stating that previous waivers have no effect on this contract, blah blah.

Basically, the show wanted to make an example out of a real tool, and I love it.

so glad for Jeremy, he deserved it. he was my pick from the jump.

and holy smokes. major crushing on Wentworth at the reunion.

I just watched the reunion and tried to look for it but didn't see it.

OK, I tried to take a picture of one of the times where I thought I saw it. It looked to me like the white band closest to his wrist was the end of the glove - see how his hand is a slightly lighter color than his arm and there is that "bunching" on his thumb? I could be wrong, though. Could just be lighting plus a wrinkly thumb.

Not seeing it myself.. Then again, they do have him sitting next to Abi and I'd want to wear protection anywhere near that also

The best way for Keith/Kelly to have played the fake idol was for Kelly to have made it and not told Keith until she handed it to him AT Tribal Council. His reaction would have been completely genuine and Jeremy, Spencer and Tasha would have had no option but to vote for each other.

I was surprised Probst didn't have the impromptu poll as to who would have voted for Kelly. I wish she would have made it just to see how it would have shook out.

Favorite part of the reunion show.. not asking Kass any questions and watching her pout and give the golf clap every time they came back from a commercial. :bye:

I know you have the episode in "the archive." Spin it up. Watch again.

Finally watched the finale tonight. Jeremy was deserving for sure even though I predicted he was done after the first idol play. They did eventually come for him but that second idol saved him.

Good season all around. I enjoyed it.

I saw nothing. A couple bracelets is all I noticed.

Oh, in the very beginning, with Probst introducing them in the green room, anyone else catch Kass grabbing Abi's boob?
:49 seconds in. Abi pushes her hand away after grazing the boob.
Is that really what you guys see? Kass never made contact. Just a simple hug. Kass's hand hovers while Abi brings hers in to grasp it.
Yeah, that was definitely not what I thought it would be.
Maybe Joe was wearing gloves while this was happening?

I think it's probably lighting from a spotlight, but it does give off a latex glove look.

Great season, congrats to Jeremy but I fear Val isn't going to be in any hurry to drop the baby weight.
I don't think Jeremy is the type to care that his wife may carry some baby weight for a bit. He loves that woman.

I'm glad Jeremy won. He was my favorite. He has always come across as a genuinely nice person, and he played a good game. It's the first time I've felt all three finalist were deserving to sit there at final tribal. Fun season.
