Appleby had the chance to tie, but he passed it up. Why didn't he take it to the hole after the steal?

If you want to see a team that truely got screwed by the refs look at the Washington Huskies. No way UConn should have been in a position to come anywhere near tying the game at the end. Got to feel bad for Brandon Roy and the rest of that team.

The double technical was BS, as was the non-goaltending goal towards the end. I still don't understand why Appleby didn't go for the tie, though.
