at 140 this fight would be over.  Interested in seeing if crawford can get the KO.  I think he can but horn is eating these shots.

Maybe so, but from what I've read, I'm already paying roughly $12 a month for ESPN programming with my DTV package. Now you want me to pay another $5 on top of that so I can watch #### on my phone? Hard pass. 

 
As expected, Crawford smashed a horribly overmatched Horn.  Can a Crawford-Spence fight be on the horizon ? perhaps in 2019...one can hope. 

Santa Cruz outworked and out-accurated Mares. A Santa Cruz/ Gary Russell fight would be fun.

Charlo going the distance with Trout was curious as Trout managed to weather the early onslaught.  That 113-113 scorecard is shameful.

i think this is the next big fight.  But yea not until 2019/2020 i bet.  I suspect Crawford gets the winner of garcia/porter, or faces someone else if thurman gets that.  Then after he has gone through them, we would see him fight spence(but i could see them making us wait).  There are so many options though at 147.  I want to see crawford khan.  that would be interesting to me. 

Plus i think Spence has much to learn too. 

 
So a few months ago i had Marvin Haglers image tattood onto my forearm...hes easily my favorite fighter and was the sole reason i ever laced up a pair of boxing gloves at the age of 15....now 40 years later hes on my arm in honor of his impact on my life...this is the tat 

so every year  go to the International Boxing hall of fame for the inductions....this year my goal was to have Marvin Hagler autograph my tat...and he did.....this is a video of him signing it...he loved it

i then had my tat guy tattoo directly over his signature and this is the end result

im extremely happy with the results

funny side note ...I asked Hagler if he recognized what fight that tat was from...he looked for about 5 seconds or so and said The hearns fight...Tommy Hearns was just a few feet away  lol....i looked to see if he heard Hagler...he didnt

Thats awesome.  I need to make a trip out to that event one year.  Do they let everyone get that close to the HOFers?

he wont.  KO or no win.  Same as last time.  I think this time GGG knows Canelo isnt as powerful as he perceived and doesnt have to be as cautious as he was early on.  But Canelo is smart and slick and he should learn from the first one.  It will be a good fight.  Will Canelo have power without the peds tho?

yes the fighters are very  accessible....you can run into them at this famous bar right next to the hall of fame called Grazianos...literally drinking beers and shots with some of them.

The best place to actually get close and have pics taken is this cocktail gala they have for an hour...you have to dress smart but all the fighters are there...it only lasts an hour so choose who you want to see wisely ...i would have spent the whole hour trying to get near  Wladimir Klitschko...so i opted for guys like Cotto ...Barrera and morales....Micky Ward.....that Barrera / Morales pic was a rare pic...we were the only guys they posed side by side for ...as a favor of a guy we know who knows them ....there is no love lost between those 2 ...but they did it and it was awesome.

Something new they added this year was the friday night fights at the turning stone casino...which they signed a contract to hold most of the events there from now on ...they offered a special last minute VIP in the hall of fame lounge with the fighters for an extra 40 bucks...we were in there and all the fighters like Hagler ...hearns ...james toney...jesse vargas...jarrett hurd...julian jackson...Robert Guerrero.....Tony Tubbs.....Antonio Tarver.....kelly Pavlik....winky wright just walking in and milling about with us ...the only guy i couldnt get near was Mike Tyson...he was ringside for the fights which were on ESPN  plus friday night...one little side blurb...Tyson was at the Banquet and Don King was there as well ...Tyson was sitting down and king walked by him and touched tyson ...tyson snapped ...said ''dont touch me MFer'' and threw a glass of water on King...crazy

GGG's body attack (or lack thereof) is what I'll be looking for early on. If he can put in work down there I think it'd staunch a potential late Canelo rally. He might not be able to get the stop, but he can prevent a comeback and seal off a win, assuming that the cards are fair.

I also don't think clenbuterol increases one's power, it helps with conditioning, right?

 
Anyone watching tonight?  I like Spence a lot so if I'm home, I'll watch, even if I think Ocampo has a <1% shot to win

Got to watch the P4P bests whenever you get the chance imo.

But feels like a Sunday morning eggs and coffee fight.

 
Usyk/Gassiev rescheduled for July 21 in...Moscow. All four belts on the line, as well as the Ali Trophy (?) and probably a bunch of money.  Better fight, for my money, than Joshua/Wilder.

i hate that i have to sign up and pay now.  I did the free trial for buds fight.  Now i may pay the $5 because i do want to see this one. :shrug:
