Also, I've never seen Maldanado or Imam, but this is supposed to be a pretty even fight between two guys with potential. Leo Santa Cruz is in the other fight and he is the man, love his seek and destroy mindset.

He's a real solid fighter, this isn't a crowning for Wilder. If he wins, he deserves a lot of credit.

Yeah, I suppose short term, but not long term. The winner will make real nice money in Europe fight Vlad. Stiverne's promoter is Don King if you like conspiracies. However, I don't think the fight gets fixed. I think both sides really want this win.
 
Im totally rooting for Wilder but this is a legit step up in competition, should be very interesting fight...Santa Cruz is a huge favorite and should dominate...opener starting now and could even find a line on it.

This is like WWE. One guy or the other is on the canvas half the fight. I'm waiting for someone to hit the ref with a chair.

 
That was the right call. Imam is someone to watch. Maldanado is a tough guy that's been in with some serious up and coming fighters. The most impressive part of Imam is how well he could fight in close quarters despite being the taller and longer fighter.

Wasnt sure there was any fights tonight, but its always nice to get off work and get home at 8pm, check it out and realize there is an exciting card :boxing:

Been going alright for myself, some suprising stuff family wise though...drinking a little Dr Pepper & Fireball tonight, cheers :banned:

So Wilder beating up a troll is the reason is fixed? Also the article mentions the lack of skill Wilder has, but Wilder is an Olympic champ. I won't be surprised if this is fixed, but it's unlikely to come to the cards so it's the fighters that will decide it.I saw on Twitter that Broner turned down a fight with Imam, I see why.

Agreed on the outcome. Either Wilder is exposed early, or he gets another KO in the first 4 rounds, seem like the most likely end result.

Good to hear things are alright. I hope surprising is surprising good and not surprising bad. This Santa Cruz fight ain't too bad, huh.
 
LSC is like a mini Margarito. Nothing is big, but when the late rounds come he is still swinging away without any signs of tiring. He just wears opponents down.

Jeez Bayless, that was really early. The fight was over and I get protecting the fighters, but that was too early.

Same here. I didn't have HBO or Showtime in a decade or more and my father doesn't get the PPVs for free anymore, so I naturally lost interest. Hard to follow boxing if you cannot see it.
 
You know it's a big time fight because Don King Id in the ring with 80 pounds of gold on and hair blown up high. Feels like 1985.
