The exchange between the little girl that punched Andy and Pam was funny.

Needs more Gabe!

Georgette from the Mary Tyler Moore Show making an appearance. Could tell that voice in an instant.
Thank you. Also the wife of AD on Coach and MOM to Roberts wife/girlfriend on Everybody Loves RaymondWas bugging me

Oh yeah, forgot about her on Coach. I gave up early on Raymond, don't remember her on that one.

Last few episodes have been an improvement. Definitely some laughs. I hope we see more Dwight and Packard. Featuring Andy as a main character is miserable fail.

At least Creed got some screentime. Is it just me or has he been invisible all season?
he's been invisible most of the series
Last season or so at least, they've made the effort to give him 1 line every episode. And usually, it was the best part of each. This year I don't remember any lines at all until last night. He'd been visible but hasn't spoke much if at all.

Best episode of the season. All around funny.

Kevin killed it. His rap about cookie season, and Wined, dined and sixty-nined--metaphorically.

Dwight's unrepentant hostility towards Jim (I kept waiting for the punchlines but he just kept getting meaner and meaner).

Erin is painfully annoying. Every once in a while she'll do something stupid enough to get a quick chuckle, but those moments are rare.

Gabe is kind of the same way, except with creepyness

Krasinski looks sooooo bored. It's like he's barely trying. I can sort of see his point. He's done movies with Clooney and Streep, and now seems stuck on a sitcom that is starting to show its age. If this whale movie with Drew Barrymore is a hit, he'll barely be able to keep his eyes open.
I noticed this last night, too. He's been my favorite character in the show, but he's on autopilot at this point.

I like this British woman. She is quite peculiar.
Is she supposed to be funny?
I've been wondering for years if any of the "jokes" on this show were supposed to be funny.
The show still has a couple of funny moments per episode but the unfunny moments outnumber them 10-to-1.
Yeah, I was raised in the good old days of sitcoms when the writers would put three good laughs per minute. Now? Was I supposed to be laughing out loud about a balloon sinking or something???

Worst episode ever. I hope they don't intend on keeping that British woman around.

Nothing she did was funny.

It's time to end the show, imo.

Catherine Tate was good as Donna Noble on Doctor Who, but this role just sucks. And how the #### is it that Robert California, who talked Jo out of her own job as CEO of Sabre can't stand up to Tate? They just seem to be bending characters around for the sake of lazy writing.

I've been liking a lot of the recent episodes, but I agree that the British chick sucks, California does too, and Jim looks bored.

I do like Erin though. Always have.

They really need to get Packer in for a full season.

I still like the show but I always would rather see a show stop when it's still good then to give up watching it because it's gotten so bad. I think it's been a great run for The Office but the writing is clearly on the wall.

I think the show took a turn for the worse when the following things happened:

1) They took the humanity out of Michael Scott, and turned him into Homer Simpson. Funny thing is, the same thing happened to Homer.

2) They turned Dwight Schrute into a super villain

3) They changed Andy from the "Nard Dog" (an annoying, frat-ish Ivy-leaguer) into...a huge <rhymes with wussy>.

at first it was a subtle slide downhill, but it's fallen off a cliff over the last few years. Too bad, the first 3 seasons were great.

Yep....it was a great first few years...it sucks most of the cast outgrew the show and they wouldn't let them leave (i.e. Jim and a few others).

Tobey with the best line of the the last episode: "Erin, HR's a joke. I can't do anything about anything."

The whole scene in the conference room was awesome
:goodposting: As others have noted, this show has been seriously dragging this season but Creed in particular in the conference room was just killing it last night. You just can't go wrong talking about erections and/or the lack of them.

I haven't seen this week's episode yet but I thought last week's was hilarious with Stanley's mustache. How many people weren't sure? I was saying he did and my wife said he didn't. Great scene.

I'm torn

When Iatch this there are so many jokes in the same episode that are either hit or a total whiff.

Rbt California could have been a much better haracter with fewer lines/appearances and more clever writing.

awful. just another example in life of things that are good with Michael Scott, and bad without Michael Scott.
I liken it Van Halen w/o Roth. The band was foing down a bad road beore the departure. The last few seasons with Michael were really part of this slide into oblivion. There some good aspects...I like the Kevin is dumb enough/smart enough to state the obvious when everybody else doesn't want to...

Yes. It wasn't close the best that the series has done, but I still enjoyed the episode. Angry Andy and Andy going through a breakdown makes for good tv. I can see the part where Dwight was bidding on items, thinking to just be guessing, to be a Michael Scott thing, though.
