1.13 Cy Young

01, 03, 04, 05, 07, 08

Low risk, low reward. Doesn't have one dominant season, but has six solid ones with lots of IP.

Risk is the added dimension this time around. There have already been some guys picked who wouldn't have been if the seasons were fixed, and vice versa.
Of those drafted so far, who do you have in mind? Honus Wagner and Cy Young? To me, much of this is falling in line.

ETA: I guess Willie Mays, too.

Was really hoping I could get Gehrig... Rolling a 1927 would have been nice though.

1d6, rolled once.

Roll set 1

Die rolls: 6

Roll total: 6

Did I do it right? If so, 1938 year it is.

At the time of each pick, the owner must choose any six eligible seasons of the player's career. If a player does not have six eligible Major League seasons (e.g. Satchel Paige, Hanley Ramirez), he cannot be drafted. The WIS database is the single source of truth regarding eligibility.

The six seasons will be arranged in chronological order (earliest first). A single roll of a six-sided  die will be used to determine the season to be used for league play. No re-rolls, mulligan seasons or dice adjustments are permitted.

Everyone needs to stop taking the players I am hoping to draft. I am going to end up with Lou Merloni as my #1 pick.

Shake OTC, no?

 ...though I wish you would have kept that quite for awhile.
:shrug:Don't think it affects anything -- those guys wouldn't be elgible by rule, anyway. It's impossible for anyone to throw away a pick on one of those guys.
yeah, but I'm sure some didn't know they're are a bunch of those guys that are ineligible...now.
 Can't see the difference it would make. The WIS first-timers don't have those guys in mind at all, and the veterans will have done the bare minimum of research to have scoped a few of these guys out. I doubt anyone was planning to punt 2B all draft long and then take 1994 Todd Haney's 82 elite ABs, for example.

My war room advisor Harrrrrr advocates this strategy
