I'd like to get to the end of round 24 by tomorrow night and do the traditional round 25 cluster at noon EDT on Thursday. People will still have early Thursday to catch up on their skips.

If a 15-20 minute clock tomorrow will help us accomplish this, let it be done.

 
I have 1 more pick to make in this draft, and that's in the 23rd round. You can autoskip me if you like, I doubt anyone will snipe me for the short list of players I'm looking at.

All the songs have a baseball theme including "Ted ****ing Williams", "The Death of Big Ed Delahanty", "Satchel Paige Said" and some others that spotlight undrafted players.

It's not a candidate for album of the year--it's pretty much got side project written all over it, but it's fun and has some good namechecks.

:rolleyes: another late afternoon waiting to make an odd-round pick, while the supper-chicken gets cold. (BTW, the wife tried to kill me last night by serving undercooked chicken. It was this really nice oriental dish with grilled chicken skewers. I told her it looked raw (like seared tuna) to me, but she insisted that it just looked that way because of some sort of special peanut coating. About halfway through dinner, i finally convinced her, and we got this dramatic "everybody stop eating and go wash your hands!" fortunately, no one got sick.So tonight when she called to tell me that dinner would be later than usual, i wanted to quip "making sure it's fully cooked?")

First time I ever drafted 12 pitchers ... but I missed badly three times on starting pitching rolls. The misses would have been my entire middle relief had I gone deeper. Now I can sharply limit the IP of my three weakest middle relievers, and lean hard on Tommy John and Ron Reed.

 
My pitching. Top line is the aggregate of all 12 pitchers, counting the worst three (Fassero, Cooper, and Russell).

The second line is the aggregate of my best 9 pitchers -- still got over 1700 IP to work with even if I put the three bottom guys on Mop Up :thumbup:

Note to Koya re: Tom Hughes

Based on your comment about the one big season, I assume you're drafting Salida Tom Hughes instead of Long Tom.

Before you roll, make sure all your selected seasons are either for Boston (NL) or New York (AL).

 
also, anyone who is interested in a SS or 2B, Allan Trammell and possibly Robin Yount could be had for the right price...

are those WIS theme leagues and progressive leagues any fun?? You guys ever play any of those??

What about the dynasty leagues for baseball or football or basketball??
