Fwiw one of my complaints about Hillary was that she knocked a whole next generation of Democrats off the stage. Sanders, for all his youth appeal, is by definition of his age, last generation. There's no reason Perez can't be part of the equation in 2020, but they need to sort out the DNC chairmanship issue. It's already taking too long, the party needs leadership.
