It's all fun and games until somebody shoots (tries) me with lightning. And as far as me going after you -- you're in hover mode most of the time. That's like shooting fish in a barrel.

For the next two days my ex's mom is gonna be staying at our apartment.
There's already tension in there, but my "hangout" is at the end of the apartment with the TV and PS3. This woman likes to stay up late and watch TV. It's gonna be akward as all hell and I don't think there'll be much time for me to play. May be able to squeeze in an hour or two when I get back from work, though...

My opinion, I don't like Birds of Prey BOP.
You need something a little more catchy or original or that has a sweet three letter tag like PRO or something.
I would even be for the Drifters DRI or something like that.
I have been having some awesome defensive games lately. The wrench is my friend. Stupid warhawks try to blow up my tank you better use a tow suckas.

FYI..I reported my Silverbacks account to Sony today regarding the stat-padding issue that happened when I went into that ranked player server. I'll keep you posted as to what happens.
I'm sure my stats will get wiped, but I'm not too concerned with all that. I just wasn't too fond of my stats being inflated by that crap.

Oh that was you? The only thing keeping me from totally brutalizing your team was the f***er under the end of the bridge who kept binocing the upper control point. After he hit me a couple of times I said enough is enough. I grabbed some mines and a tank and rolled up there the whole time some fool was pinging mg bullets off my tank. I got out before it blew knifed the binoc jerk and laid some mines under the bridge but when I came back on top A couple of dudes got me. But Yeah I would roll a tank up there kill 3 or 4 guys then get killed rinse and repeat. Oh and one other thing it seems like my open mic always gives feedback and I don't know what.
I have lowered my volume setting in audio from 3 to 2, I have dropped the sensitivity to %25, dropped voice to %50. It doesnt seem to help.
I do play with surround sound on and really loud. I turned the volume down and it still gives feed back. sucks.

Sorry had to bail so fast last night bob. The gf wanted to get something to eat. I got your message when I returned but she wanted to play Hot Shots Golf. After she was done though, I sent you a message and created a room. I waited for 20mins or so and assumed you were not at your ps3. Maybe tonight or tomorrow we can setup another room.

I sent him a message to add him as a friend and told him I had a room created night before last. I told him the password was fbg for my room so maybe he just used that one.

I didn't know the password was fbg, but I saw that both you and Silverbacks were a part of the FBG clan on the communities thing, so I just put in fbg as the password and it worked.Silverbacks: I tried to join a room that you were in last night, but I have no idea if I did it right.

As gay as this may sound I need a rocket buddy.
Nothing is as devastating to the opposition than two guys with rpgs working together.
Every good pilot knows the timing, fly in hit with your tow or cluster bomb and then jet out of there after a rocket hits you before they can get the 2nd lock on. If two guys are shooting at the same plane with rockets they are dead every time.
I had a round last night that was awesome. It was badlands I started flying and no one else was I got shot down and we lost most bases and there were up to 8 enemy warhawks in the air at a time.
When it goes this bad I shat rocketing and generally get in a flak battery, the missle battery in the front of the base is not good because it has too many blind spots and a cloaked ship can get it easy.
Anyways otu of pure coincidence there is me and another guy who are the only two spawning by the lower garage. I was on top of the flak battery and he was climbing the tower next to it. I only get into the battery when there is a cloak ship coming in.
Anyways these pilots start doign their tow andbomb runs thinking it is all peaches and massive tow hits.
A guy flies over the center and decloaks hit the flag with his tow and is incinerates moments later as both of our rpgs hit him before he can move. Kill after kill from simultaneaous rpgs.
I am not kidding these guys were getting creamed. They were mad and started coming after us cloaked and I would flak the hell out of them with the battery and then when they decloaked they couldnt hit both of us with the tow and the other guys would get him.
He would hide in the tower and I would jump in the bunker if the got to hot on us. The sharing the rockets was key, neither one of us would take them unless we got down to two rockets.
I am convinced that this is absulutely lethal.
Final tally I had 14 rpg and 8 battery kills, the other guy had about 15 rpg kills it all depended on whose rocket got there 2nd.

Just an update...doesn't appear that Sony is too concerned with my stats issue. I've now reported my Silverbacks account with 2 different usernames over the past week and they haven't done anything.

I wouldn't worry about it. We don't care and I doubt anyone else will be too upset with it. The only thing is you won't be able to play on the level two servers for too long because of your rank. If that is a issue for you maybe you should get a new user name, because if they do wipe your stats they will probably wipe them all anyways.

I joined the server he was on--but it was a Death Match server and there were several Commanders & higher in the room even though it was titled "Easy Kills"
I left after Towing a few of them. I locked onto while you were flying around Bob but didn't finish you off ( I felt like being nice!)
I'm not much on Death Match so I left. I'd recommend finding some equal competition in a level 1 official server or create your own server and put a rank restriction on it.

I should probably read the instruction booklet, because I don't know what a Death Match is in comparison to any other match. I thought I was finding equal competition. I put in my filters to only look for players with My Rank. And I did create my own room one time, but no one joined save for one guy and he was only there for a few minutes and then I wound up flying around by myself for a half hour. I'll probably be on tonight for a little bit, depending on what's going on with the wife. I'll try to get my mic hooked up tonight too. And I'll have my laptop with me as well if any of you veteran Warhawk players want to communicate with me on how to get my mic working. You are likely either still a recruit or an Airman. Play level 1 official servers (the servers in blue) or when scrolling through the servers, look for your rank or one above in the top right.
You can create a room like you did, but the problem is you have to wait for people to join if you are doing a player ranked. You can create an unranked server too and I don't think that has a pre-game (waiting for others to join message).
Death Match is everyone vs. everyone
Team Death Match is your team vs the other team
Capture the flag--your team tries to capture the other team's flag at their base and then transport it back across the map to your base
Zones--your team tries to control all zones on the map
Zones & CTF are the best modes in my opinion.
If you want to play in a level 1 server with me, I can use my son's account and you can be my wingman when flying or my tank repair guy to get a feel for it.

I am going to try like hell to get the ribbon before the APC comes out. I think that may make it harder to kill people.

I tried to sign up twice. Ran into problems each time doing so.It's a shame, because last night I managed to rile up the entire XCON clan by continually towing them at their base. They wouldn't stop cursing me afterwards.

Honestly, I don't think they will do anything with your stats. Since you told them you mistakenly joined the room and did not intend to stat pad. On that note, I joined a player ranked room the other day. When I joined there were only a few seconds left and acouple of ppl had around 200-350 points. New game started and I asked if they were stat padding. The person who created the room said this:Him: "No. They disabled flag toss so you cannot stat pad anymore"Me: "But this is a player ranked room and you are scoring 300 or so points each game. Whats the difference?"Him: "The difference is, I'm giving ppl the option to try to stop me from returning the flag. I've been playing for a few hours and have only scored 1500 points."Me: :confusedashell:To me, he was stat padding.

Well I wouldn't call that padding, if there are even numbers on each side and they aren't doing anythign unethical.The difference is on a player server is that it can be unlimited captures. My two best rounds ever are 400 and then my second best is 148. In the one round I got 400 it was 4 on 4 with unlimitd captures. The other team was trying to stop me from grabbing the flag but I was on fire and just beating the #### out of them, they were outclassed and it was the day the bio field generator came out and they didn't get it. It was fortress on badlands, I would run across the middle and the other guys would come to meet me and i dropped a BFG and they couldnt kill me, then I shot them all, repeatedly, grabbed the flag and ran. Seriously the one thing that Warhawk needs is a wait list for a server. It irritates me that when I try to join a room that one of the other FBGs is in it is always full.

I only need one more ribbon Combined Arms acheivement to have them all, 10 kills of each air vehicle and troop (What a ##### to get)I am also currently trying to get my Warhawk Turret badge. I got the 1000 turret kills I need 20 in a round since getting to 1000 though.I will try to get the medals after I get all my ribbons and badges, I figure medals will take care of themselves. I have all the ones I need to get promoted like 6 more times. I have 40k points and I have the medals/ribbons/badges to get promoted to 200k points so I don't need to worry about promotions for a year its all points for me now.
