***Official*** Warhawk for PS3 thread (1 Viewer)

I need help from someone. I tried to make a post here to try and recruit a couple of ppl. But for some reason I cannot make a post there. I get this error, "The page isn't redirecting properly Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete."

I've tried using both IE and Firefox with no luck. My cookies are enabled and still cannot post on that site.

So, can someone make a post over on that forum asking if they are a couple good players that would like to join our clan for the ggl tourney?

 
Just registered our clan on ggl. If we can get a couple more ppl to sign up, we can hold a practice match this weekend or something.

Got it..thanks. In Orlando now and will work on the banners Sunday if I have time.What do you guys want on them? I noticed that WAR!, CCX, /7 and some others have characters on theirs. Anything you guys want on yours, let me know and I can make it happen.

I envisioned a Black eyed joe in the left/ upper left corner, the background would be a green football field, green with the white lines and maybe a <20 yard line. Across the Upper part to the right the of the black eyed Joe THe players name Underneath the players name FBG-Footballguys.--------BEJ - LoanX -------- FBG - FootballguysI thought hte BEJ would be the solid white standard one here and the football field would be behind the rest possibly under the BEJ on the left lower a football sitting on the green field or something.I actually tried to create this in ms paint, but seeing as this was the first thing I have ever tried to make much less the first thing I tried to make in ms paint it looked like something a very slow 3 year old would make in art class.

A couple of thoughts that I have. Others can chime in..

Can you shrink the BEJ between a quarter to half the size it is now?

What you think about putting "Footballguys" at the top, putting the username down at the bottom (shrink to the same size as the other words) and then putting our clan tag "FBG" vertically across the the TD area?

What does everyone else think?

There were a lot of good players in there. I Couldnt find you and then when I did I shot you but at least I stopped before I killed you.:lmao:Hey Derek, were you able to hear me on the Glacier last night? I was using my mike but No one responded to me and I didn't hear anyone talking. You were doing well flying, I kept trying to cut off the chain of zones it didnt go so well.
 
Yeah--I was going to come to that front street so we could team up and take out some guys but i saw you shooting at me and my health was already pretty low. I was trying to not be too obvious on the mic about what our "strategy" was going to be.

I tried to join with you guys when you were in the BM exclusive game around 9:15 CST but it was full. I finally got in when you guys left.

I couldn't hear anyone either. i thought my mic was broke so thats why I quit. Well its good that it just wasn't my mic.
 
I am going to give away one os my game tendacies.

I hate being sniped. I HATE IT.

My #1 all time favorite thing to do in Warhawk is right after I get sniped I ALWAYS come right after the sniper, AND STAB HIM.

I laugh my damn ### off when I suceed. I can't think of anything I think is funnier. My favorite is Archipeligo when some dude in the bunker with the sniper rilfe has a boner thinking oh man I am awesome I nailed LoanX I am going to keep my scope on his pack and when he gets it I will nail him again with my gay hiding sniping lame butt.

10,9,8, repawn,7,6,warhawk,5,turbo,4,turbo,3,2,land,1 STAB HIM IN THE BACK.

I don't always suceed sometimes there is unfortunately placed mine or he has a buddy, but if I can stab a sniper to death right after he snipes me no matter what else happens I am a winner that night.

Just a FYI if you snipe me I AM coming right after you if I can.

It is even funnier when I stab the clown and take his sniper rifle pack then I run right to the mine tower.

The t bag always goes back for his wuss rifle and just he is left sitting there waiting for it to respawn then I whip a mine in on him.

 
Derek-any luck on getting those 2 guys from the GGL forum to respond and agree to join the FBG clan?

Checking over my stats & ribbons, I still need the ribbon for a kill with all troop weapons. Any suggestions on what the best map/mode would be to accomplish this one? I'm guessing a Death Match in Badlands: Fortress maybe

I also need the Outstanding Volunteer ribbon but find it hard not to kill someone in a game.

 
No luck yet. I've sent them a message but the site doesn't let them know when i send them a message. Hopefully they check it soon.

I need helltoupee and breesus to go and accept the clan invite on ggl so our clan can become active again.

Whats this weekend look like for everyone? Anyone want to participate in a clan practice match?

 
Just got another hit on ggl. They guy has only played 32hrs with a .58 kdr. What you guys think?

I'll be out of town the next few days for work, I gave loan and silver leader access on ggl. Incase someone else decides they want to join, you can send them an invite.

 
I say let anyone in on GGL it doesnt matter if we can't even play.

Just let me know the plan by friday because I don't check my pc on weekends usually but if I know when we are going to play I will log in.

Sorry I havent been on a lot lately.

I havent played Warhawk in a week and that is the longest I have gone since I got it. I have been obsessed with Team Fortress Two this week. I am trying to get to the top. I have made it as high as the 200th ranked TF2 player in the World! I am trying to get into the top 50. It doesnt have as many players as Warhawk but there are still a boatload.

TF2 is 5 tiers

Tier 1-4 are 1000 players and Tier 5 is everyone else.

I am currently Tier 1 #227

 
On the thread Derek created over at GGL...we've now got 2 pages of people looking to join our clan.

Is Drifter the only 1 that can add people. A few of these guys have potential and could help us out.

 
Seriously Dylan Jobe came out with at post about the partnership with GGL.

This thing starts next week and you get a prize just for playing in it.

We need to get this together because I am going to play in it one way or another.

If you play in the tournament your field knife is upgraded to this New Equipment

I will get this.

Let me know what we need to do.

I have a recurring nightmare where I'm getting cut up by one, though...

Still, I'd love to run around with one of those beasts in my hand.

 
I just got back from my trip. I'll look at ggl tonight after is spend some time with my girl..

Ya, drifter is the only one that can add ppl to our fbg clan in warhawk. I'm not too sure when he comes back.

 
Do you guys want me to just add ppl if I think they are good enough or should i post some info about them here and get your guys opinion before doing so??

I say just add them, no offense to those who may be delusional but there is 0% chance that we are going to win it all. I just want to make sure that we are able to play and get our sweet new equipment. Plus it would be nice to have some gamebattles. I think we need to have a message on our clan board and it would be nice to have some more members to play with. Pretty much the only guys I see regularly are Derek and Silver. I would say let anyone with a mic in. I don't need someone we cant talk to in but if they have a mic and we play with them and they are ##### we can always boot them. Also thanks to Silver we have a nice banner for PSN and we can get GB and GGL going. When Home comes out it would be cool if we had some people to hang with.

Just sent these guys a clan invite. I also have other clan invites out to the two other guys I mentioned before.
 
Here are some others (not sure if they were padders or not)

fabo_83 62K points with 303 hours played

Crotin 10K points with 50 hours played

Saenyan 5K points with 38 hours played

fabo_83 could be legit I suppose.

We need to get Drifter to add these guys before we lose what we have. I too want that sweet blade. Even though we will get killed in the tourney, I want that blade.

Does Warhawk allow a co-clan leader that allows you to add people to clans?

whats fabo_83's ggl name??Why do ppl think we are going to lose? Its anyone's game when it comes to zones...I don't think Warhawk allows that. It would be nice though. Maybe when drifter gets back we just create a dummy account and give the password to the main FBG guys so when someone needs to be added, they just long under that name and add them.

Once this room is made, I say we get Breesus, Derek, LoanX, Helltoupee (if available) and myself and take on these guys so we can see what they are made of. Let me know what time this weekend.I can host 16 only since the new patch came out, however I may be upgrading bandwidth soon.
 
Now that I think of it, I think fabo_83 posted on the PS3 forums about being a free agent and wanted to join the tourney.

I tried to reply to his post but my PC was acting up and wouldn't let me. Might want to do a search and find his name on the PS3 forum and send him an invite.

I also sent out a feeler to a player called Neomessis (41K points with 314 hours played)

 
Good couple games for us last night LoanX. You had a couple flag caps on Island Outpost.

On that Zones game at Badlands - I was going nuts holding 5 with the flamethrower. I was torching guys left & right.

Yeah when we got pushed back into two bases do to the sorryness of our team and there were 8 warhawks in the sky I like to call that "me time" Nothing is funnier than me shooting people down who think they are going to get some sweet kills then they try to tow me three or four times and miss. I love the lower battery on badlands. You gotta have some rockets and the sniper. Sometimes the guy getting the tow is too high and you can sniper his warhawk from the tower. It is always cool this is the most common sequence. 1. Some idiot gets all excited to tow a million people at a base rape, he flies in and battery him to death. 2. He comes back now knows I am there he tries to tow the battery which I know his is going to do so I jump out as soon as he shoots, then I rocket him as he goes over3. Now he is pissed so I climb the high tower or the ridge and when he hovers to camp I snipe his warhawk. They may get me sometimes and I dont always get them but it helps out because the base rapers know there is someone gunning for them.
