***Official*** Warhawk for PS3 thread (1 Viewer)

Just received an email from him, i'll probably be sending them an invite as well. By their stats, they are pretty good.

Oh and silver, when you get home, can you close down the server and change the "auto team balance" off. I can't be on your team when I join your server.

Add habahnow to the list.We currently have 7 ppl on our clan team. If we can get helltoupee to join the team, I think we can begin to challenge ppl..

Also, should we create a forum for our clan to keep ppl up-to-date on who's playing what matches and such?

ETA: We can create a free one here Anyone know a better one to use?

Your league mates won't mind if you create a whole new thread devoted to a game? If you create this thread, we'll be able to create topics underneath the thread correct?I'm not sure if you can do this or not, but can't you setup a warhawk member group and only allow that group to see the warhawk thread you created?

We are gearing up for the GGL Warhawk Tourney which starts next Tuesday and last throughout the month, if anyone would like to play let us know or sign up at GGL.

The more guys the better

 
Drifter--do you know when you will have time to send out the clan invites to the new guys? I know you are probably busy, but with that clan battle tomorrow night, I think we need to get those out pretty quick.

Got the game Mid July.In a joint effort with my son, we're currently a Wing Leader, should be a Sgt Leader in a day or two. Need about 700 in points.We probably wasted a bunch of time and effort playing non ranked games here and there not knowing there was even ranked and non ranked games, but otherwise got the game down pretty good.If there's a weak spot, it my air skills. Take air to ground.... It seems like I get killed in about 5 machine gun shots from a plane when I'm a troop on the ground. Me shooting from the plane at a ground troop seems to be an exercise in fulitity.

It's all about trying to lead the guy when they are driving or running. For vehicles, the lightning gun (not charged) will help you take them out quickly while hitting them with your machine guns (same with planes).Try to use homing missiles and lead them a bit in the direction they are running and you will get a kill every time.As for flying, don't be afraid to use air mines, chaff & stealth. In the beginning flying stages, they will help prolong your life and will enable you to fight another battle.

I finally got around to getting this. I can't believe I waited so long. Even though I suck at these sort of games, it is endless fun. Ending up playing until 4 in the morning on a school night.

 
Message Silverbacks or LoanX and we can get you into our clan.

I may play some warhawk tonight, the problem is after so much cod 5, I am constantly throwing grenades accidentally due to different buttons.

The big thing now to be on the lookout for is Alternate accounts. There are some General ranks and other high ranking guys that create alt accounts and Noob pound all day or try to set the KDR record. Pretty lame IMO.

For new players, I'd stay to unranked games or go to games setup by your friends.

You will be surprised by the level on "talent" in rookie servers (green servers).

 
We need to get all of us together one day and hit this game hard. All the original FBG's for one last go around.

Derek, Brees, Loan, Drifter, Helltoup and the new guys that just got the game.....I can host 20 to 24.

 
I keep ending up on god-awful teams that don't know how to fly.

The 'Hero' game is pretty cool, though. That one I like.

The grab ### waiting for a game with UH8 kills me. I like hanging with you guys but after getting baby fluids spewed on me all day I need to shoot stuff..... a lot.

Agreed...that kills me too. Although, as luck would have it, that was about the only time of the day we had to wait to get a game. I hosted a server for about 2.5 hours during the day and it stayed full the whole time. Part of the problem with the U*H8 is that team balance is off in order to get all on one side and then nobody stays in the game.

Sad thing is I blew myself up with a tow to end my streak. Great week in Warhawk so far! You guys need to get back in the game.

 
The Warhawk Playstation HOME space is set to release today. Supposedly they will have the sand table where you can go in and draw up stategies and stuff. I will be on later checking it out.

Yeah--I was pretty pissed when I killed myself with the Tow. I think I could have gotten quite a bit more. I was in a Warhawk for the entire 3 rounds I played. Played 2 rounds in an official server and one round in a player ranked server.Stats count in player RANKED servers.

 
Had the top KDR yesterday of 117.0. Note that this was only in a Warhawk, not overall. I think my overall KDR was about 19.5.

I guess going 45-0 in a TDM and 55-0 in a Dogfight helped boost that number! :lmao:

 
I went and checked out the Warhawk home space and the tables would have been a huge help during the ggl tourney, but kinda pointless unless you are doing game battles or something.

The whole time I was there noobs kept bugging me to be my friend to go play warhawk together since I had a lot of warhawk trophies.

Oh and Silver why do you hate Red Baron, sure its last gen graphics and an arcade game but I think its great for ten bucks. Oh and playing Warhawk for a year sure has helped my WWI flying ace skills. I am the 3rd ranked DM pilot out of all the RBA players. Apparently no one but me has figured out that if you kill the engine you turn tighter.
