One poster says the WR screens never work, then one says "where were the WR screens?"
One poster says "The offense was too predictable in the 2nd half", the other says "Why all the deep shots downfield in a tie game?" as if running the ball up the gut on every play would have continued to work once Denver adjusted.
Here's a dose of reality, guys. We had ONE good season in recent memory, and it was last year. Before that, we were a mess, but by the posts in this thread, you would think we've been a perennial Super Bowl contender that has collapsed due to bad coaching.
These coaches/front office personnel turned a team that was annually a joke into a playoff bound division winner and now, halfway through the following season, you're calling for heads to roll and a total regime change. AFTER A LOSS TO THE BEST TEAM IN THE NFL. I have news for you - the Redskins are still a MUCH better team than when Shanny/Allen/etc. took over a few years ago.
Two steps forward and one step back - now everyone is running around in a tizzy, calling for heads.
That cap penalty would paid for a stud O-lineman AND a stud WR or DB, which would sure help the team right now. Shanny inherited a mess of a situation.
All of you need to un-bunch your underwear. It's like listening to a bunch of fickle, panicking school girls complain in this thread. I'm ashamed to say I'm a 'Skins fan when I read these posts. It sounds like most of you are band-wagon jumpers during the 2012 season because your expectations for 2013 were FAR too high for this team.
