***Official Week 12 Injuries *** (1 Viewer)

Any word on Gore? The game is over.Thanks.
take a look at the game thread - I think someone wrote that gore was in on that last series of the game.
I didn't notice if he was in on that last series, but it looked like a minor injury IMO. It wasn't given a lot of attention on the sideline. It looked to me like tweaked an ankle cutting and then the defender was on that ankle when he was tackled. At that point it looked like the 'Niners were icing the game and running with whoever was in there, so there wasn't an ugency to get him back in...then they decide to kick the fieldgoal on 4th and 2 inches but that's a topic for another thread...

Fred Smoot hurt at possibly the worst time. Stops the clock for the Cards at the 36 with seconds remaining. He played horrible though, likely will stay benched anyways next week injury or not.

Cowher just announced Troy P may have a "significant knee injury"

Last Play: 2-3-NE 15(13:38) L.Maroney left tackle to NE 14 for -1 yards (B.Urlacher, H.Hillenmeyer). CHI-B.Urlacher was injured during the play.

Brian Urlacher walks off the field rather gingerly, as he might have had the wind knocked out of him. We´ll keep an eye on that for you. Rex Grossman is also hurting with a possible hand issue

EDIT: He's back in...

Pam Oliver reported that Grossman is "all over the place" with his practice throws and that he "cleared the bench" with one of them. He's visibly grimacing throwing practice passes on the sideline. Brian Griese is warming up.

Junior Seau got heel-kicked in his right wrist trying to make a tackle -- he's down and appears to be in a lot of pain.

Junior Seau broke the ever-living-crap out of his wrist ... just guessing, but I would say done for season. (his hand was flopping around like Tyrone Prothro's ankle last year) :o :o

Grossman making a nice comeback. Just threw a pretty crisp out route and looked ok. First pass after the injury was defnitely an adventure though.

Minor leg/ankle injury for Tomlinson. Just so no one jumps off buildings, it looks very minor and I'm sure he will return.

Edit to add: back in, in case anyone was worried.

I'm guessig he's done for his career.

Perry apparently broke his leg.

ouch

RB Chris Perry is reportedly out for the season after suffering a broken bone in his lower left leg during the second quarter Sunday.

Perry went down awkwardly at the end of a nice 10-yard run and stayed down for several minutes before being carted off the field. He didn't appear to be in a ton of pain while heading to the locker room, but reportedly suffered a broken bone that was initially called an ankle injury. He'll reportedly need screws inserted and may be out for the season.

Maybe this guy isn't the heir apparent to Rudi....

Indy TE Dallas Clark hurt his right knee bad.

ETA: After writhing in pain, he got up and walked off of the field.

Straight to the locker room for Clark. Looks like he landed hard on his right knee after being tackled. He did leave the field under his own power, however.

I don't think Perry was in line to be the heir anyway, but this latest injury probably cinches it. It likely also hurts Perry's chances of going anywhere else to be a feature back, as his injury history will likely haunt him for his career.

Can't provide a link (cuz the info is from a pay site), but it looks like Frank Gore had x-rays of his ankle taken after the game, but no news on the results... Could be a nail-biter for us Gore owners the next couple of days.. I'm trying to find corroboration of this info from any other news site..

Sprained right knee for Clark -- he's out for the rest of the game per Andrea Kramer.

According to Rotoworld they took 2 X-rays of Gore's ankle and Nolan said it was a bruise.

Andrea Kramer reports that x-rays on Clark's knee were negative but he is scheduled for an MRI tomorrow.

Ronnie Brown-RB- Dolphins Nov. 23 - 10:11 pm et X-rays revealed that Ronnie Brown broke his hand during Thursday's win over Detroit. Brown says he likely will need surgery Monday.Brown says he fractured the first metacarpal. The Palm Beach Post compares Brown's injury to that of safety Travares Tillman, who recently had hand surgery and may only miss one game because of the procedure. Sammy Morris will take over as Miami's starter if Brown misses any time, and probably split carries with Travis Minor.Source: Palm Beach Post
any further updates here? needing to have lineups set by Wednesday @ midnight sucks! :hot:

Rumor has it that Hass' hand got pretty banged up and they are running it under the appropriate scans today. Is that true?

FWIWLINK

Ronnie Brown didn't sound optimistic about returning anytime soon, but he was confident he would be back before season's end.

When I asked him in the lockerroom Monday if it was possible that he could miss the entire season, he said, "I doubt it. I'll probably be back out there, more than likely, like the next few weeks or so. Before the end of the season I look forward to playing again. I'm confident in that."

unfortunately i'm #12 on the WW and the Ronnie Brown owner is #11. he grabbed Morris ahead of me. woulda been nice to pluck Morris off the wire and keep him away from the other teams.. stash him on my bench until Brown came back.

I own Morris, had #6 priority, #5 plucked him out of spite! I hope karma gets him!

I'll just follow-up to my own post...Matt Hasselbeck did get MRI on his hand and it's a fractured finger. What wasn't clear to me was this was on his non-throwing hand.
