I live 70 miles from your park. I can get there in an hour, about the same drive as people from the western suburbs. Also get all the Chicago TV stations for free, and get the Sun-Times and Trib every day. Sorry I'm not as cool as the posers in Lincoln Park. FYI, I haven't been to a single Cub game all year, but been to 3 Sox games. I went to many Cub and Sox games in the 70's when they drew flies.Nice steroetype though. And yes, I am still laughing my #### off. I really would vote for the ChiSox against Boston.

:boxing: Bring it on Oswalt.What do you guys think Ozzie will do with the line-up? I'm very curious to see if he bumps Crede up a couple of spots in the order.The whole Crede lovefest thing is a bit over the top. I thought Buck was gonig to give him a hummer in between innings. I'm glad he's getting some credit - finally. He's played like that all year. Anyway, it certainly gives folks reasons to hate the Sox. If we win, I don't care.

Ozzie is not going to change a thing. The bottom of the order has done a great job of turning the line up over throughout the post season.Should be interesting to see some of the bench come into play this series.

He hasn't played like that all year. He was awful the 1st half of the season hittingwise. They were trying to upgrade at the trade deadline. He has had some huge hits for them in the second half and the playoffs.
 
Update: so there's the OLD GUY that calls up Mike North (sports radio personality) and leaves messages constantly second guessing White Sox management. Sunday night at approximately 9:43 p.m. there is a message left about what a dumb trade Lee for Podsednik was blah , blah , blah..... This was right after the throw up the 1st base line let the tying run score. Low and behold Pods comes up and immediately silences his biggest critic. Yes , Virginia there is a Santa Claus and he along with the Baseball gods and my father and George (just a couple of batboys in the 40's growing up in Bridgeport) are all watching over the White Sox this year. :)

I heard this yesterday as well.....too funny.
 
It's down right amazing what these guys have done. Clinch on the road for the ALDS, clinch on the road for the ALCS and will probably clinch on the road for the world series....only losing ONE game during the post season. (assuming they win tonight)I want them to sweep, but I also don't want this to end. It's kind of bittersweet.

Chisox would be wise to trade Garland asap. Trade him for prospects or bullpen help. McCarthy is ready.

NO WAY!!!! never trade quality starters. Ozzie and Coop know how to handle their staff.

They need to keep him in the pen, considering there are so many question marks there. Plus he really is the only long reliever at this point. He did look pretty good last night but I wouldn't annoint him as an ace yet.
