Unfortunately the Sox have to bench their best hitter to get Jim in the lineup.

You guys know I absolutely despise the White Sux but seriously, what is going on here? I mean they just aren't this bad and this has to be mind boggling for the fans. Is it BGP's fault?

Of course it's BGP's fault :lmao: :hammer:It is mind boggling. They have a heart of a lineup that consists of Thome, Dye and Konerko and they are still the worst O in the AL. I'm done trying to think of what is wrong with the offense. I kept wondering what it could be because I didn't want to face the reality. That reality is, no matter how dumb it might sound, they NEED Scott Podsednik in the lineup. Every stat geek in the world can show me why he sucks, but the fact is when Pods is leading off for this team, the White Sox are a productive offense. When he's not, they flat out suck. I expect to see the token sacrifice to the baseball gods which will be hitting coach Greg Walker's head, followed closely by the dismantling of this team. I would not be surprised to see Ozzie on the outs either when it's all said and done. Not sure if he'll be canned or just flat out resign, but I'd be shocked to see him coaching this team again next year.
 
Mutha ####er! Can the White Sox win and Jenks get a ####### save? Seriously I hope they go 40-122 with Jenks getting 40 saves. Get your #### together Sux ####s!

And when they get the Mets/Braves/Phillies in a bidding war, you might get a very nice return.Dye should be able to bring in a good youngster or two.

I love Mark Buerhle, great pitcher(although I consider him a #2 in a good rotation), and seemingly an all-around good individual. However, I think he can fetch a pretty penny at the moment. Would love to see him at the top of the WhiteSox rotation for five more years, but if Jerry Reinsdorf is going to play the poor card, it's time to move him, asap.

I never want to see Mike Macdougal in a sox uniform again. What the #### happened to this guy over the last month or two?? What a ####### joke. You knew when he came in that he was going to give up a hit, and sure enough he gives up a 2 out 2 run single. Was looking at stats on ESPN last night and was sick to my stomach by the team batting stats. Did you know we only ahve 2 triples this year!? :thumbup: 2! The Royals have scored 52 more runs than us this year. :lmao:

I can't believe that they can be last in the league in runs scored with these guys in the middle of the lineup. It is mind boggling.
 
I know...Kenny Williams should give the team a few more weeks, if they continue to blow, well, start the bidding war...

 
Good win tonight. :rolleyes: If Danks can pitch good tomorow and the offense can score some runs we could in good shape to win this series. :thumbdown:

Take a look at their lineup card everyday. You'll probably see 3-4 names a night that either you don't recognize or that shouldn't be starting for a Major League team. Sounds like Pods and Erstad could be back this weekend so it'll be interesting to see what they can bring to the table, if anything at all.
 
2 triples? man ohhhhhhh man....

The thing that kills me w the offense is the manner in which 4 players have not bothered to step up at all in light of the injuries- Konerko, Iguchi, Dye and Uribe. The mental lapses here are just staggering. Bunts turn into double plays and 3-0 counts turn into strike outs. There is not one player on this team that is showing any emotion at all. All we are getting is that we will turn it around or that we have the team that can get back in the race. Is there a real leader on this team? Paul can sit in on meetings with Kenny and Ozzie but we need a guy that is going to get on someone fast for a silly mental lapse. The bullpen is on Williams and now it is two seasons removed. All I heard over and over like a broken record was how great the pitching prospects were in the Sox organization but we had to trade to get these overrated arms like Thorton. Aarsma and MacDougal? I would feel better with El Duque still on this staff. Let's get Pods and Erstad back and at least play spoilers.
