***OFFICIAL*** WHITE SOX THREAD (1 Viewer)

Again?Link to me stopping in the first place.
You stop rooting for teams when they suck. The White Sox suck. :cry:
As a Rays fan, do you need me to explain the concept of first place to you?
:) No, I don't need a bandwagon fan of a team that waited almost 90 years to win a title to explain first-place to me. I'll go talk to a team with a little more success than that, in that case.
I stopped rooting for a team, that I was told to root for as a kid, that sucked for a century. They always sucked, it's not like they went south and I all of a sudden jumped ship. I waited for the ship to hit bottom and was lucky enough to be able to swim to the surface.

I'm thinking it's quite possible that Cappy's been a Rays fan his whole life because he sure does act like a 12 year old when given the chance.

I've known bandwagon fans before. :thumbup:

:popcorn:Yeah, it's getting bad. I thought the Bulls thread was bad, this is taking it to a whole different level.
Oh, like when you got on me for incorrectly calling the Heat over the Bulls, but then couldn't figure out why I got on you for calling the Bulls over the Pistons? :thumbup:

I thought you guys were calling people out for wrong opinions. Guess it doesn't cut both ways?
:popcorn: What wrong opinion did you make that's being called out?
Really?
Not just really, Seriously?Is it the ownage STATEMENT?

statement, opinion, prediction, guess, jumping bandwagons...whatever you want to call it.

Yes here we go Pods is back and now we are going to shock the world! Nice to hear rumors that MB might just sign with the team but if he does that still does not rule out a trade.....

Don't call it a comeback! If this team starts to hit, they could rattle off 15 of the next 20, then who knows? Wake me up when it happens...

Well let's review what going on with the White Sox since they began their trip thru the easy part of their schedule on May 25th.

1. They opened by drawing 3 games with the Devil Rays. Unfortunately, one game was rained out. So it became a two-game series, and you always expect a split, and that's what you got.

2. The first 5 games of an extended soft part of the schedule always gets an asterisk, as I've noticed over the years that it seems to take one full trip thru a rotation before the effects of an easy schedule shows up. The first 5 games includes getting swept in 3 at the Twins.

3. After that, they dropped 3 of 4 to the Blue Jays. I would have expected a split there.

4. Currently they have 4 games with the Yankees. Between the Blue Jays and Yankees, I'd expect the White Sox to split one series and win another.

I'll set down a pace car for June:

TOR: 2-1 1-2 -1

NYY: 3-1

HOU: 2-1

@PHI: 1-2

@PIT: 2-1

FLA: 2-1

CUBS: 3-0

@TBB: 3-1

@KC: 2-0

Pace car for June record: 20-8

That would leave them at 44-33.

Of course they are one game behind so that currently has them at 19-9 and 42-34, unless they pick up a game somewhere.
They might win 2 of those series.... might.
Got my 2 series wins... and they waited until the last possible game to do it. :rant:

"Not signing Buehrle for much less than half of what Zito got, in the current market, would be a mistake for a team with a sizeable payroll; he's too good of an asset, at that price, to pass on a $56 million contract." B. Olney ESPN

Great win tonight. :football: I can see this team winning 12-15 games in a row and getting right back into this race.
Hey love the positive vibe. If anything- let's crush someone in the division in the second half to ruin their playoff chances! I think that I would like to see us hammer Minny and the Tigers as they have had their chances recently!

Feels like 2005 doesn't it?Well except for the fact the White Sox suck and all. ;)

I actually hope that the Tigers make the WS again, that way I can watch as they take yet another piss down the side of their leg. :hifive:
