14.12- RHP Luis Deleon, San Diego Fathers

DeLeón pitched 206 games over the first six seasons of his career, all in relief. He made his first and only start in his last career appearance, which was also his only major league appearance in 1989. Pitching for the Seattle Mariners, he threw 4 innings, giving up 1 run on 5 hits, and did not receive a decision.

He is known as "The Millionaire from San Antón.
In this league, he's known as "The Only Padre Reliever Worth a ####".

'23 Cy Williams was top-5 in WIS VIII (Golden-Steroid Era) in home runs, playing in Minute Maid Park. And that was with all the usual big thumpers around.

14.11 Cy Williams - OF - Phillies
thought his 1924 season looked the best, but then i noticed that his 1923 season has been played over 1300 times in WIS leagues in the past 4+ years.
That looks like a glitch in the matrix to me.
High normalized HRs in 1923 season
So the 116 HR season is legit?
+4 HR park  Williams' log5 HR/100 rate in 1923 is higher than Sammy Sosa's in either of his 60+ HR seasons.
So what you're saying is we have the SOD here.

Not sure if my last post went through so I apologize if it's a repeat. Some solid low inning starters available in a straight up or package deal for a reliever. Would be willing to give up some IP as well. Perhaps Cal Eldred of the vaunted Brewers for a really good reliever of a non scarce team?

I waited too long on Cy Williams. I planned on taking him as my Philly player since the start of the draft. Figured the low OBP would keep him available.

LOL at Kaline being a better option in CF than a young Junior.

Yeah, Kaline's only the most under appreciated HoF'er in the history of the game.
I was speaking purely defense. Kaline played RF and Junior's one of the best defensive CF of all time. Just seemed weird to me.
Kaline could have played RF AND CF. Yeah, he was that good.
Water covers 70% of the earth...the other 30% covered by Al Kaline?
I wish I would have coined that...
