I've been waiting for Tre to draft his shortstop so I could pick from among the leftovers, but it's gotten to the point where the waiting game was negatively impacting which franchises I had to leave open. So congratulations Tre on winning the staring contest.Dickie Thon SS Colt 45sMeh

BOOM! The one I want is on a team you've already used anyway.

I held out for four rounds which allowed me to set up my bullpen. My plan B was to use Sherry Magee's SS eligible year but I wasn't in love with the prospects.

Steve busby it is.43 pretty good innings from a near bare franchise. Sorts like 43 free innings as it would otherwise have been some ball boy or mascot in the final rounds

Sorry phone acting up:Steve Busby royals He available?
He's yours....FWIW ... I don't think it's your phone (unless you fingered DELETE POST by mistake). Might be the forum's architecture. Your earlier Busby post was there .... and then it was gone.

16.12- RHP Mike Fetters, Brewers

Fetters is best known for his head movement while on the mound. Prior to pitching, he took a deep breath and moved his head quickly 90 degrees to the left. He claimed that he was stressed when pitching as the reason for his head movement. While with the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2002, Mark Grace imitated the same move when invited to pitch for one inning. During one game in the 2004 season, Houston Astro Craig Biggio imitated Fetters' head movement and scowl while batting against him, drawing laughter from the Houston crowd.
Had my eye on the fat #### for a while now, and with BrewerRun in progress, figured it was time to pounce. Not sure how I'll work my pen yet with rubber arm Eichhorn, but this may be my closer.

I honestly felt I was more ahead.

Some of those teams are pretty punt-worthy though.

I have no idea why I am making this pick.

16.17 Bret Barberie 1B/2B/3B/SS Expos

Terrible defense, but a 353/435/515 in 164 PA's

:bag:

16.18 - Dave Winfield, OF, Padres

Not the absolute best fit for my team, but I figure he's far and away the best Padre left. 308/395/558 with 34 HRs in '79.

Quick question...can I play him some at 1B even though he doesn't have a rating there?
