The one time I had Arky Vaughn in one of these (the Golden Steroid draft), he couldn't hit his way out of a paper bag. Ended up trading him to Koya for Mike Scott after 40 games or so.

I usually do, and it's worked out for me much better than going batter first IIRC, although I did get the Series ring when I drafted offense first in the disco era draft.

Was one VERY tempting guy out there, but there should be really solid hitting all around and the elite elite pitching should be valuable IN THIS FORMAT.

we've done so many of these that we all begin to know which players struggle, etc.

i have not had vaughn, but went for position scarcity............the only thing that seems to hold true in these is power and OBP. i have been disappointed by almost every pitcher i have taken.

Have to ask around, but I don't believe Vaughn consistently krappes the bed in WIS. He just did for me that one time.
