OFFICIAL WIS XVIII THREAD: An Ode to Claude Hendrix (2 Viewers)

It's just inconsiderate.
This. I don't understand why this concept is so hard for you to grasp, larry. Yes, WIS baseball is fairly insignificant, but it's just common courtesy to let people know when you're going to be late or make adequate preparations. If you see you're coming up but think you may be away, send someone a list. If it's not that big of a deal to you, ask to be skipped if you think you'll be tied up. For someone who's so nonchalant about this thing (supposedly), you shouldn't care about being skipped.

Hell, I wasn't ready for my last pick, so when someone texted me, I let them know to skip me because I didn't want to be inconsiderate and make people wait an hour for my glorious presence.

Just be considerate. That's all we ask.

Please PM next. Thanks.
Horrible story about Pedro I did not know. At least he could play baseball:

In September 1999, Guerrero was arrested for trying to buy 33 pounds of cocaine from an undercover agent. In June 2002, he was acquitted of drug conspiracy charges after his attorney argued his low IQ of 70 prevented him from understanding that he had agreed to a drug deal and that he was borderline ######ed. His attorney further argued that Guerrero could not complete basic tasks such as writing a check, making his bed, or dressing himself and that his wife had to place him on a daily monetary allowance.

and even he didn't end up on autoskip

The end of this is going to be very interesting. Feels like some people might be setting themselves up for disaster by not spreading the wealth at all.
