I remember we had a kid in jr. high school who would bring a brief case full of charms,slo poks,black cows,and sugar daddies and sell them.  He would by them at 10 cents a piece and sell them for .50.  He was quite the entrepreneur.

Back in 1972 or whatever you could buy a string of 10 for 20 cents.

He’d load up and then sell them for a nickel.   Somebody snitched and he was almost suspended.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Marathon Bars  on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched candy cigarettes puff in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like Pepsi Blue  in rain. Time to die.

I'd say Boston Baked Beans, but I never tried them.  The case was always full at the candy store.

Our Walgreens carries them.  I love them.

After the Snickers/Milky Way/3 Musketeers threesome, Peter Paul Candy seemed to be the next most popular halloween treat in the late 70's/early 80's.  But I remember always trading off Mounds and Almond Joys because coconut in candy was disgusting.   But they had a third candy bar called Powerhouse which was really good.  When someone had all three in a bowl, I always picked Powerhouse.  But I haven't seen it in years.
