Who can you see being a good buy low to milk out one or two more years.

Edge- will be hard to buy low

Fargas- also may not come cheap, will injuries re-surface, Dmac coming to town

T. Henry- started out great last year then injuries and RBBC

A. Green- if healthy will he even be the starter

C. Brown- could be the main back in a Houston RBBC

Rudi- any life left, now a RBBC

F. Taylor- because of last year, price may be higher than what he will return

Alexander- the fork may already be slightly lodged

T. Jones- if Dmac does not go to the Jets he could be a good buy

I would think Green and Brown could be had the cheapest and produce if they don't cancel each other out. Many think they could draft a RB in the first round but I think they would not pick an RB till later.

I think Henry could be worth a look if you can deal with the Shananigans.

T. Jones should have the best chance to produce if the Jets don't take Dmac.

He didnt look that bad to me. 1100yds behind that terrible OL was an accomplishment. Chatman is a back up and was signed to a cheap 1 yr deal. The Jets invested heavy in FA with Faneca,Richardson, and Woody to improve the Jets run game. I like his chances if the Jets dont go Mcfadden in the draft

Sammy Morris looked good before injury. Much might depend on if the Patriots draft a RB, and how early, but I like him. Kevin Faulk is getting up there in age, and we all too soon forget Maroney's injuries.

Probably 2 years left as a starter. Had 1300 9 last year 30 rec for 248. Hes a solid RB2 for 08 imo. Not sure how cheap you can get him for

I wouldn't say he got fleeced. TE's are almost impossible to get in this league. And to be able to start either 2Rb/1TE or 1RB/2TE, there was no reason for him to have Maroeny/AP/1.02 AND Jamal, decent move imho. He might have been able to get a tad more, but not really worth the hassle.

That's a nice call. While I definitely think he is on his way out, his value is pretty low now, so it would not be a huge risk. I was going to mention Ahman Green, but at this point, I think he is toast.

I really don't like Jamal.. he will be way overvalued. Take away his game where he ran over the Bengal for 216 yds and then the game against the Seahawks where he had 20 carries for 37 yds (not even 2 YPC) and 4 TDs; and Jamal was just avg.

I did not include Lewis on the original list because of this reason. The intent is to discuss buying low on an aging RB that may still have 1 or 2 years as a RB#2 or RB#3. This could help you if you have a team that can compete for a title or an older established player may offset a team with a lot developing players. Some teams may want to unload an older back before they lose all value, especially if they are rebuilding.

That's pretty good.Discount weeks 6 and 9 from ADP and he did mediocre last year. Include them and he was outstanding. Discounting a player's best weeks doesn't work, because no player does well on the weeks he does poorly.

I think J. Lewis's value is significantly higher than Graham's. Lewis has the pedigree, he has had elite seasons, just signed a new contract, and plays in one of the best offenses in the league. He is also the same age as Graham. Graham is a mediocre talent in a mediocre offense, and won't be holding that job long term. Jamal is the man in Cleveland until his skills start to diminish. Now that I think about it, I think Lewis is actually a great buy low.

He only had 2 games under 19 points from weeks 8-16 in the league Im refering to No reason to think the Browns offense wont be moving the chains again especially with the addition of Stallworth on the outside. Jamal wont be seeing a lot of extra defenders in the box with the weapons Anderson has in the passing game. You can say take away this game or that game, but the fact is those games count. You could say that about a lot of good players...Chad Johnson comes immediately to mind

What upside do you speak of? If I had Graham and someone was willing to pay RB25-30 price, I would jump to it. He isn't young, but people will give you the mileage argument, but he doesn't have the homerun talent. He will be replaced by 09 at the latest. It took him 10 games before Gruden gave him a compliment. Why? He isn't flashy. He is fairly productive, but Gruden wants a Caddy-like talent to lead his team, and Graham doesn't have it. I wouldn't be surprised if TB drafted a RB in the 3rd/4th round and gave him a shot.

LT is a buy-low only if you have an extra WR to throw around. I wouldn't pay much more than a top 15-20 RB and a top 25-30 WR unless I had an outcrop of talent.

I think just the opposite, since he went to Seattle many think he will be the man and will not be had cheap. I see him in a RBBC on a poor run blocking- pass first team.I do not think his value will equal his cost.

I am not necessarily disagreeing, but I thought the same thing about Marshall Faulk just before be went into terminal decline, and made several terrible trades in various leagues in order to acquire him.
