Omega Playoff Bracket (3 Viewers)

I'm feeling a little sorry for the SolidSteel Rats.... they posted 177+ points (which is a really good total for the Omega Leauge) and had a 40 point lead going into the Sunday Night Game... Then Joe Horn goes off for 51+ points...So naturally, I'm feeling a little guilty, but I'll take the win though. Great Game Rats!

 
Congrats BlitzI was thinking it was going to be close, with around 20 for Horn and 15-20 for McNabb...BUT..Horn made that cell phone call to president Bush and Bush said if you score 4 TD's your invited to dinner at the white house after the seasons over. :shock: Good luck to you both in the Championship game..me will try to win 3rd placebut seems The Omega Men have a great team..4th is ok then. :cool: Been a fun time getting this far in the blood, sweat,and tears.Have Happy Holidays to all!

 
Hey guys, what can you tell me about the Winona Roughryders?My inside sources :ph34r: tell me that their owner is an accountant for a large hotel chain down south... Maybe I can hire him to count my Omega winnings! :brush:

I got plenty of testimonials already... and once the season is over I'm sure there will be a few more roll in... :thumbup: So I'll let others do the talking.What is the word on Portis? Last thing I heard was that he was walking around on cructhes... I guess the bright side is, at least he is walking... :excited:
 
Mildly interesting factoid I noticed. Don't know if it means anything...feel free to draw your own conclusions.The two closest games in round 1:Blitz 122.12 vs. Your Olympic Hero 120.08 - Margin of Victory: 2.04 Winona Roughryders 134.06 vs. Taylor Mades 133.80 - Margin of Victory: 0.26 :shock:

Thanks for the support guys. I'm going to need all the support I can get to beat a team of Winona Roughryders stature...Mungro Burrows, in talking about close games... The Winona Roughryders are averaging 166.9 points per game in the playoffs, and the Blitz is averaging 167.8... less than a point separates these two teams... Go Blitz! :boxing:
 
Isn't this how it always happens: I have McCardell on my team in Omega and that long TD makes me jump for joy. However, I am also playing against him in my local league and it makes me cry and scream. Oh well...

Is your local league worth as much as Omega?Which has more prestige?Good luck to both of you :thumbup:

This local must mean a lot to you.The chance to call yourself Omega champion when EXperts have taken part, people from all around the country etc, surely would be more significant.
 
time to add the yards....unoffically, i think I got it! Only because they downed the ball! Even a FG at the end i think would have done me in....

 
Yea... I think you got it too... one more score... or a pass to S. Sharpe and I would have been good...Great game though. It has been a great season, and I went further than I ever thought I would go after posting a 6-5 regular season record.I lost my local league conference final game today too... It has been a rough day! One game away from going to the Super Bowl...Oh well, there is always next year...Congratulations on the win, and have fun with the $$$. :thumbup:

 
FYI: I'm pretty sure Horn only had one catch for 21 yards, but the web sites have him with 2 for 39...an 18 yard catch that might have been boo williams?...not sure though, but either way, it still isn't enough unless some stats change. (EDIT: never mind, i think the catch where Horn got injured is missing from the play-by-play is all)Damn! This was one close final. Like someone said earlier, I think I pulled a Winona and stole one here! a lot had to be aligned for me to even make the playoffs. :wacko: And then to lose Portis and be forced to start Staley :wall: ....Whew! pure luck. There were a lot more deserving teams, but i will take it. Now i can talk trash for months and months around here...hehehehehehe. :excited: :excited: :excited: :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:Good Game Bruce, and thanks. And thanks to Mike/Unlucky. Well my fun ride is over..4th place is ok..got $200..so means I played for free in all my leagues this season.Congrats to winona, blitz.and Omega men..hope to play this again next year great time I had.PS: don't forget to tip! LOL :P

 
Quite a close final game. As usual, we'll wait a few days to see if there are any stat changes, given how close the game was. Congrats to the winners, and a big thank you to everyone that participated.
