Specific games from yesterday aside, I agree with your larger point in starting this thread. Seems like we have this discussion every year in TSP around November and December; the number of times weather has a dramatic impact on a game are very, very rare. And for the most part, it's not a reason to bench your stud. Offenses know where they are going, defenses have to react, you can still have big gainers in horrific weather.
But the rain was heavy and steady in a couple places, and coupled with wind, definitely affected playcalling as the games wore on yesterday.
4th quarter was borderline absurd. Ryan stopped wearing his offhand glove because all his gloves were soaked and they didn't have any left. He had a couple towels balled up under his jersey, looked pregnant, and would hold his hands in there until just before the snap.
