Here's a blurb with a quote from him. Call me cynical, but it looks like Turner is a little upset with his situation and is taking a not so veiled shot at that team by saying they only have him for one more year.

"I would imagine they'll try to use me more since they only have me one more season (and are) paying a little more," Turner said. "I would imagine they would use LT and me (together) more."

Um, did you watch any SD games last year. They used Turner with LT quite a bit trying to create mismatches for the defense. I can see it happening this year too seeing how if you split LT out and MT in the backfield the defense has to pick their poison.

As for him saying he is only there for one more year, he is not stupid. He has one year on his contract and will be an unrestricted free agent. He knows that LT is the man in San Diego and that the Chargers will not be in the bidding war for his services when he goes free agent. AJ Smith has even conceeded that MT will not be in SD in 2008. Not taking a shot at all.
