I'm looking to join my 1st ever online $$$ League. Have had a few referrals, but after reading the AFFL debacle, have gotten a little gunshy. Anyone have any experience with Dimesports???? I am concerned of one paragraph of their official rules...
5. PRIZE CONDITIONS: No transfers, alterations, substitutions or cash redemption of the prizes will be permitted, except as provided herein. Prize Winners will be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release and where lawful, a Publicity Release which must be returned with the Affidavit of Eligibility. Dimesports, Inc. reserves the right to substitute prizes of like value in the event described prizes are unavailable for any reason. Subject to the terms of these Official Rules and Regulations, an eligible participant may receive the following prizes: one (1) among the Grand Prizes through One Hundredth place prizes (whichever prize has the highest approximate retail value), and one (1) prize and all League prizes for which he/she is eligible. All federal, state or other tax liabilities will be the sole responsibility of the prizewinners.
Can they substitute a 100,000 dollar Gift card for online services, if they cannot provide the grand prize??
