She is not the only one. Chris Berman, quick weight loss or some spinoff, seriously? When a fat person lectures you on anything health related in terms of food, just chuckle and thank them like you do a Senior Citizen when you don't want to hurt their feelings. 

How many diets and weight loss programs has Oprah entered and then tries to get everyone to do it when she herself has shown no ability to stick with or maintain success on any of them. 

Weight Watchers is a great program for a ton of folks, I'm not anti-WW, I'm just tired of this woman getting away with outright lies and thievery. Oprah has a lot of followers and when she endorses whatever, folks run and grab. It just sickens me to see her as the spokesperson.

She has gone from Safety to LB to Def Tackle and then settled in at RG. 

I wish she would just pimp sugar n salt because that is what runs that body. She is not eating fruits n veggies round the clock I assure you.

She's not any worse than Kirstie Alley. 

Thin people don't push diets because people who need diets feel they can't relate.

Shares of Weight Watchers surged 17% Thursday morning after the company unveiled a new ad campaign with Winfrey -- who I will now simply refer to as Oprah for the rest of this story. The news was first reported on People magazine's web site. 

"Weight Watchers is easier than any other program I've ever been on. It's a lifestyle, a way of eating and a way of living that's so freeing. You never feel like you are on a diet and it works," Oprah said in a release about the new ad campaign. 

Oprah is the third largest shareholder in Weight Watchers. She owns nearly 6.4 million shares of the company -- a stake worth about $77 million. That's an increase of $10 million from Wednesday. She is also on the board of Weight Watchers. 

And the value of Oprah's stock in Weight Watchers has increased by nearly $35 million since she first disclosed her investment in October 2015.

Meh.More power to her.  She's uber successful and besides that I do think that there are lots of people out there that can relate to her because of their own battles against weight fluctuations.    Probably better her than some size -2 model that has drug problems and eating disorders.

I had not considered I could make money on WW had I been a little more observant. Owners of that stock will have a prosperous New Ear but I would dump out in Feb as people stop meeting New Years resolutions.

I hate the part of that commercial where she's in the maroon shirt and when she extends out her flabby arms the pit puddles rear their ugly head. 

 
Pretty smart move. She gets paid for the ad campaign and at the same time cleans up on the stocks. Astute

Im not wearing Spandex on TV 100 lbs overweight and giving out lessons on eating. She has been doing this going back 25 years. Every time it's the new thing and she will be thin...just get the surgery already and encourage everyone to follow.

That's what makes them money...the fact people keep coming back.  And ya, Oprah is killing it and a genius.  Whether she means to or not, consistently repping WW makes her a ton of cash.  Keep adding lbs and dropping.

She did this just to piss me off. She fell off the couch laughing as I was ripping Oprah when the commercials were running 24/7 and then on the last night to join and get some special thing, women love special things, she runs and finds some group meeting and joins. Then I gotta hear about the meeting and people I generally don't like and offer support, she's playing a dangerous game with Her BDay this Thursday, I'm evil and I'm getting even. Maybe a gigantic cake and ice cream to blow the points thing to Kingdom Come? She has to lose 10 lbs in 2 months...well not on my watch she isn't.
