I figured I would toss this out to the FG Forums to see what people thought about the super bowl this week....

I ran across some total tackle prop bets (solo+assists) ....

Wondering if you guys had any insight on this stuff.....

J. Vilma - Over/Under 6.5 tackles

S. Shanle - Over/Under 4.5 tackles

S. Fujita - Over/Under 4.5 tackles

D. Sharper - Over/Under 5.5 tackles

G. Brackett - Over/Under 6.5 tackles

C. Session - Over/Under 6.5 tackles

Bullitt - Over/Under 4.5 tackles

Freeney - Over/Under 2.5 tackles

Bethea - Over/Under 5.5 tackles

Thanks guys

Sharper stands out right away, he topped 5.5 just twice this year. Freeney might be a sneaky bet; he only topped 2.5 once this year and may not play anyway...

Best bets to me:

Dwight Freeney (UNDER) -- Near lock to have fewer than three total tackles if he plays. He's not sacking Brees three times and he won't be playing on rushing downs. Don't understand that line at all.

Clint Session (OVER) -- WLB should be a good bet against the Saints spread offense. Lean very slightly to betting Session over Brackett here.

Scott Fujita (UNDER) -- Very unlikely to see many snaps against the Indy spread. Did have a nice line against NE midseason, but I think the under is a good bet here, too. Two solos against ARI, five total against MIN who provided 64 tackle opportunities. Pretty sure he won't see much time in coverage against Clark, which makes this a pretty safe bet.

Darren Sharper (UNDER) -- Little risky with the Colts often throwing to Clark and Collie over the middle and testing the deep sidelines, but Sharper's tackle history suggests six total tackles is a lot to ask.
