Get the my fitness pal app

Plug in your current weight, goal weight and time to get there. Be honest.

Enter every food you eat. Be honest.

If you go over, you go over. Just keep track and understand what you're really doing each day and how close or far you are from meeting your goals.

If you decide to change, cut back on dinner, then run or something to get your calories for the day where you want them. The information is right there in front of you.

It's surprisingly doable. All you have to do is actually do it.

Doesn't sound very glamorous.

My goal was to get into the 100's before my 50th, which is in one week. This morning I was 199.8. Big day! It's been somewhere around 18 years since I've seen a "1" as the first number.

I know I'm not welcomed here, but just wanted to share. Carry on.

Great stuff.

It's not that you're not welcome. But have you ever seen that scene in train wreck where lebron is playing one on one with Bill hader?

Otis I love you buddy but my goodness you never learn.

You are going to start the same #### that has failed you every single time. Don't tell me about that one time you lost X lbs in Y weeks because you are where you are right now so ultimately it failed you. Being unsustainable makes it a failed program.

Good luck though and keep us updated.

Thinking hard about firing up a modified Bale starting Monday.

It will look something like this:

Breakfast: coffee

Lunch/throughout the workday: 1-2 apples, coffee, water. Tempted to mix in one of these protein bars instead of an apple some days, if only because I keep a case of them in my desk, they're easy and quick, and it's my typical lunch these days anyway.

Dinner: Piece of meat and a green vegetable. The canned tuna is really tough to pull off for any extended period. I asked Mrs. O if I could eat salmon and broccoli for dinner every night, but she told me the mercury would probably kill me. She's got a thing about mercury. So, I'll alternate between salmon or a chicken breast, maybe canned tuna on occasion, or sashimi some nights, paired with broccoli or brussel sprouts.

Debating whether I allow a Coors Light as well after dinner.

That should keep me well south of 1k calories a day.

Rinse, repeat until not a fay guy anymore.
Ah man that sounds perfect. I'ts like you've unlocked the weight lose genome.

Didn't weigh-in this morning because I slept late and had to make a mad dash to get my train. But, started being healthy.

Breakfast: coffee with a splash of milk

Snack: black coffee

Lunch: protein bar (didn't have a chance to get an apple)

Snack: tiny bag of mixed nuts

Dinner: two medium sized chicken breasts, steamed broccoli (2 cups?)

Dessert: a few pieces of turkey cold cuts

I'm probably at something like 800 calories on the day, and low carb. Someone else can do the math, I'm lazy.

My own scale doesn't even recognize me.

I stepped on my Aria this morning for the first time on months, and it said "GUEST." I'm so much heavier than the last time I stepped on it that it just assumed I must be someone else. :bag:

239.7

Off we go.

240??? No wonder you called it. :lmao:

And that's with going mini-bale yesterday.

I'm actually pretty sure this morning is just a ton of water weight and bloat from overeating and overdrinking this past weekend. I'm probably really at more like 235ish. I expect to be back in the 220s in no time.

And then back to the 230's shortly thereafter.

Otis, you'll be hearing from my attorney.
Last night I drank a bottle of red wine, and currently I'm plowing through a rack of Tate's whole wheat dark chocolate chip cookies like a lawnmower through fresh August morning grass.
