outdoor speakers (1 Viewer)

rascal

So I bought a projector to watch movies outside with the family when the weather improves. However, the speaker sucks so I need something to go with it.

The speaker would probably need a built in amp. I'd like to have a single "box" containing speakers and/or subwoofer. The audio output is a trs..I.e. Headphone jack. I have a cable to convert that into a black/red audio connections.

Help!!

It seems like this would do what you want. But it's not "outdoors" - does that matter (I'm sure you aren't going to leave the projector outside, so this is just another piece that you carry out and setup)

Not sure of specs for what you need but used to have a pair of speakers which were really good for quite awhile.

They looked something like this: http://www.soundscape.com/ats360.htm

To fill in the blanks--I never buried them, so what you see in that pic is only about 1/4 the height of the actual speaker boxes. I had them sitting under the deck where appearance didn't matter and used them for 20 years for pig pickins and other outdoor parties. This was about 30 years ago.
