Which of these two extremely talented, but troubled receivers, has the most potential going forward?
Ronald Curry and Nate Burleson led their teams in receiving with Moss on the team. Owens has led his team in receiving the last seven years. Owens has averaged 13.9 FP/G the last three years, Moss just 9.5 FP/G (even discounting a couple of games when he was on the field but didn't really play). I don't care that TO is a little more than three years his senior, he's miles ahead of Moss as an NFL player right now.Which of these two extremely talented, but troubled receivers, has the most potential going forward?
Ditto, One appears to enjoy playing football. The other hasn't looked interested in years.I don't care that TO is a little more than three years his senior, he's miles ahead of Moss as an NFL player right now.
That's it in a nutshell. TO might be a pain in the butt, but he wants to be the best. Moss could be the best but doesn't care to.Ditto, One appears to enjoy playing football. Didn't Burleson lead the team in recieving the year Moss got hurt and was on pace to have his best year as a pro. I call that playing alittle witht he #'s. Moss also had 13 td's that year with I believe about 9 of them being in the first 6 games. TO has definetly been more productive, no doubt but I contribute alot of Moss's disappoitment being on the Raiders and I believe it sucked the energy right out of him. Anyways for this debate I will definetly say TO has been better but If I was drafting a wr for a dynasty team and Moss ends up in GB I would take Moss before TO.
Only a Moss owner would defend that Schlub like that.....You're boy sucks....Time to move on....Ronald Curry and Nate Burleson led their teams in receiving with Moss on the team.Which of these two extremely talented, but troubled receivers, has the most potential going forward?

Well, it is factually accurate. In the first 5 games of that season, Moss had 26 catches for 394 yards and 8 TD's. He caught a TD in every game, and had 3 multi TD games already. Then he tore the hamstring and wasn't the same the rest of the season.Only a Moss owner would defend that Schlub like that.....You're boy sucks....Time to move on....

You're comparing apples to oranges here. Yes, he was able to best rookie WR R Brown with Mike McMahon throwing to him.Is it really fair to set the bar for one player at 571 receiving yards and 4 TD's and another at 1006 yards and 9 TD's? Hardly...That's true, but Owens led his team in receiving despite playing only seven games.Well, it is factually accurate. How did I defend him? I said TO had outproduced him didn't I? I made a fact that the Raiders suck, don't they? I again said TO DEFINETLY had been better and then made a statement that in my opinion if Moss had a change in scenery he could again be ranked ahead of an older TO in dynasty leagues. Now, I would like to know which ofmy comments is incorrect?
I agree. Even in a dynasty I would take TO way before Moss. In a redraft I wouldn't take Moss any higher than my WR3. At least TO is producing at a fairly high level now, I have serious doubts that Moss will ever produce at a high level again.Ronald Curry and Nate Burleson led their teams in receiving with Moss on the team. He didn't get open just on a few occassions, het got open consistently, but dropped far too many balls. There were several instances where he quit on routes or made a half assed effort in going for the jumpball. There were several INTs he got prevented if he had actually fought for the ball.I can only hope the Raiders trade his punk ### and get something in return for him. A salary-cap gain of $7.7 million at the very least (http://www.nfl.com/news/story/9988414). We could use that to sign Asomugha to a longterm deal and improve the offensive line.I don't watch many Raiders games, but from what I read it sounds like he's getting open some and dropping a lot of passes. To me, that's a motivational thing. Like I said, he has some of the most amazing hand eye coordination the league has seen - I could see some speed going away but that just doesn't.
